This will be great until one of his students kills himself, rather than going to medical school like his father is demanding.

Quick movie quiz:
1) Who played the kid who commits suicide?
2) Who played his father?

Inspiration, alas, comes at a price at times.

As soon as I got home HR was requesting background check information. Looks like I'll be in the classroom in January.

Sure, if you're still about. I guarantee I'm even worse, so be prepared to win bigtime. For extremely small values of 'bigtime'.

$50, sure, but you're only going to get one bullet out of me, I'm afraid (total balla here). Looking at the Lobby now, just name the table.

It actually might snow tonight. I haven't seen snow in years.

70F with blue skies here. The three times I've ever seen snow in my life, I loved it.

The weather is fantastic here in Phoenix. I wish it could be like this all year round. It just went from like 100 degrees to 65-80 in a matter of a week. Wild stuff. But great.

Oh man, this is great. Jesus turns out to be blue eyed and can fit the whole world in his hand. Also, Heaven is for real.

"what about Jesus?"

"Well, Jesus... he had a rough but kind face."

Thanks for that.

So, we currently have two threads ending with NotReady and Jibninjas being completely soul-owned on topics central to their religious worldview. (By Original Position and bunny, respectively.)

What are the implications for RGT? Is some concession in order from the camp that subscribes to religious dogma in a strong sense?

I don't remember the Original Position-NotReady discussion, however I don't consider Jibninjas to have been 'soul owned' in our recent discussion. He conceded right at the beginning that he hadn't fully worked out his position or at least hadn't got to the point of being able to present it in its strongest formulation. He should at least be given that opportunity before it being declared refuted, imo.

I'm about half way through what my OP will be for that thread. Haven't had much time at work. But I should be able to post it at some point next week.

As far as Sub, he will consider any conversation between and atheist and a theist or any conversation really against a theist to be a clear victory over the theist. It could be between Alvin Plantinga and a mentally challenged 12 year old, and he will still at the end declare Plantinga to have been "soul-owned".

Sub, you have been utterly dominated in every battle you have had with Aaron W, what views have you changed lately? When do we get to hear your concession speech?

You may consider me to be 'arguing as if God doesn't exist' () but our conversation was actually between two theists.

Yeah, that's actually why I add in the "anything against a theist" (which still didn't make a lot of sense, but my wife was telling me to get off so I was rushing it). Not that my view was really a representative of theism. Point was, there is 0 objectivity when it comes to Sub. 0. I think that if NR and I had a disagreement he would just have to declare that we both lost
