Denver does look like a pretty city and I bet the air is clean there, too. Do you feel lightheaded from the altitude? I never would have imagined brownstone type buildings there.

Nope...just a small local one. Had to rebuy into it. I got re-raised for most of my stack when I had trip kings on the flop so I raised him back all in. Figured my kicker J was good. He had trip kings with a 10 but he hit the ten on the turn so I rebought and lucked into a very fishy table and proceeded to hit the flop with enough callers to pad my stack well into the late middle rounds of the tourney. Of course it got tricky when the antes kicked in but we managed....
I rarely drink but we could do coffee at Binion's. I'd love to hear about the ins and outs of Vegas from an insider while I check out the Poker Hall of Fame.
PM me on times as I haven't decided if I'm lugging the laptop or checked if I have an internet connection yet.

There are wireless spots all over Vegas. Like every casino and like every other restaurant.

Yes, there's usually a surcharge though and I don't intend to spend a lot of time on the computer out there at least not initially. I'm trying to get a better feel for their poker rooms and just how poker Mecca-y Vegas is.

Huh, i have connected to a lot of wireless spots out here and have never had to pay a surcharge.

Of course that's true. I never think of using other wireless networks unless I get knocked off my main connection and I don't tote my computer outside much.
Of course I'll play poker that's why I'm going. I like the idea of being in the vicinity of the major tournaments and the lower buy-in WSOP events in particular. I had a good experience my first trip but I was tied up a lot in tournaments so I didn't get to assess the poker scene fully.
Alright, I'll PM you around that time maybe we can meet up and play some cash or something at Binion's. I've never played downtown so that'll be kind of fun.
I'll be the one wearing the drunk one wearing the Bad Religion t-shirt
