Isn't there a law against cannibalism?

Wouldn't it fall under thou shalt not kill?

Or how about the NT: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

God controls the circumstances, yes, but why can't people control themselves? Could it be that without God's help self control is impossible?

Of course, free will and insanity get in the way of helping a lot of people. God has to overcome both of them before He helps anybody.
