I've heard a few of his talks. He's a mix of a good rap/presence, great and bad ideas, profundity and posing ... like most everybody else. I'm suspicious of the adopted moniker, as guru ambitions are generally super meh. But I don't know the source of the adopted name. Of course the system produces such "gurus" as the US produces preachers, motivational speakers, cult leaders, etc. To each thing he says, apply skepticism and analysis, and if it holds up, incorporate in your worldview. In this way, all things we encounter are teachers, not just the ones with guru (or other) special status. Amen.
