I'm so impressed by my having an appendix, a talebone, back pain, and the prevalence of mental ailments in humans that it just strikes me wow, we must have been designed by a perfect intelligent being.

Why would a vestigial organ that only acts to kill me come about through natural selection? That doesn't make sense. Obviously God put it in there so he could kill us at any time if he gets the mood.

Do you guys have other ideas on why God made it? It was probably his sense of humor. Cause you know he has one or he wouldn't make people ******ed. Why would down syndrome peeps still being born if natural selection occurred. Obviously God decided to put that imperfection in humans for the comic relief of the rest of us.

There are plenty of people on here that are doing just the same as you. Its kinda like driving down the highway in a car and yelling out the window to the standers-by, "HEY WILL YOU HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND", all the while knowing that there is no way they can help you understand because you are traveling at 80 miles an hour on the highway with NO INTENTION whatsoever of listening to what they might have to say or teach, because you know you are just passing by.

I didn't see many parallels between The Matrix and the Lord of the Rings.

It is still vestigal as it has most likely lost it's original function. It doesn't mean it has lost all function.

Better evidence for intelligent design is the Spalax mole rat. It has eyes that do not function and are covered in a layer of skin.

Just a fun stab that you walked right into, also you should know I am kidding.

This will really blow your minds - an argument against intelligent design AND evolution. The fact that our testicles are on the outside of our body. I know sperm needs to be at a slightly lower temperature than body temp. But our reproductive systems evolved this way, they could have evolved with our organs on the inside. Having such a vital part of the advancement of the species on the outside of the body and extremely vulnerable runs contrary to furthering the species since they can easily be injured.

Now, the testicles are also the most painful part on our bodies, exposed for easy injury. Again, they are vulnerable to injury, potentially rendering a man sterile. The also does not bode well for being intelligently designed.

you have to remember though, evolution did not begin with the purpose of creating humans. in fact it has no purpose. for all you know, having large testicles was advantageous for attracting females in our ancestors, which is why we still have them today. even if thats not the case it doesnt matter. the point is evolution could never create a perfect being because the environment is constantly changing. what is needed for survival today, 10,000 years ago, or 100,000 years from now is not the same thing. i think anyway im not a scientist or anything.
