I hope I am not arguing with you. I am genuinely curious about your belief systems.

A Biblical scholar?

What would a Biblical scholar teach me about your beliefs?

And she didn't have a punitive thought in her head....if you wanted to see a real disciple then she was the one to see.

People forget that mercy is over all God's works. That is God's mindset. To be merciful. Justice is a component tempered by mercy never overriding it.
So long as I'm not going to hell, I can get on the bandwagon too. I love Jesus too then.

However. I don't want eternal life. Not interested at all. I hope that's ok with Jesus.

I'll still continue to do good deeds. I just don't want eternal life.

I had to study doctrine to be able to refine my beliefs and be able to explain the bible.

People get to know God and his ways, intentions and plan to a much higher degree through the bible.

Christians live by God's standards....emotions are a part of things but they can be deceptive so that is one of the reasons why God provides a written record for believers to refer to.
Yes, but I'm not interested in the Biblical scholar's beliefs. I'm interested in yours. If they're refined as you claim them to be so, it shouldn't be too difficult for you to communicate them to me: without the need for an intermediary.

I'm not concerned about my body. I'm at the gym 5 times a week and I'm more than happy with the state of my body. I just want to go back to the nothingness to which I came from. That nothingness is more comforting to me, than the prospect of eternal life.

That's good. I just hope that when the time comes I'll have the freedom to choose.

I'm kind of big on that.

You can be merciful or you can be just. You can't be both.
