Which tribe are you?

Tribal characteristics in a nutshell from Yair Davidy's site, Brit-Am, Lost Ten Tribes in the West.:
http://www.britam.org/tribes/TribecharList.html

Davidy says: These are the Tribes of Israel.
We are here describing Tribal Characteristics. You will recognize some of the Types described in your own family, friends, and neighbors. Each one of us has aspects of all the peoples of the world. All the seventy sons of Noah have left their imprint within us. Beyond that we are also Israelites. Every indiviual contains within themselves aspects of all the Twelve Tribes. There are also phases. At such-an-such an age we went though the state of a particular tribe. Now we may be in the mode of a different Tribe. Tribal Association is determined by the Father.
Somewhere there is the real "us" that belongs to one specific Tribe and examining Tribal Inheritances may help us find the key to it.

Do Ashers and Gads make good couples?

I don't know. Why don't you read up on Davidy's links?

People always lose sight of their genealogy though.

I think I'm a Judah, Benjamin, Napthali, Manasseh type...though I'm still growing...I could end up all twelve tribes (aren't there 12 fruits on the tree of Revelation?) before I'm done...it all depends how fast God can work on me...

Everyone comes out of Noah though who traces back through the Patriachs very personally to God.

God even calls himself the God of Abraham, Jacob and Isaac tracing out the human family's line by genealogical name and order.

Isn't it strange if you read a Myers Brigg personality profile or an astronomical profile or even a tribal one that they somehow are incomplete but they get some things right....Humans aren't complete in this world. The bible uses the word "perfect". We'll be perfect in the next world.

Why is it some people care so much about origins but notice genealogy hardly at all?

Everyone descended from tribes.

Tribes are really just big families.

And there's a lot of sibling rivalry in Jacob's line and even before. Jacob competed with Esau (one of the fathers of the Muslims) for God's blessing.

Time consuming to "prove", but I'd put my money on Esau being the slavic type white peoples.

Google around for "Germans are the ancient Assyrians." (though some portion is from Jacob)

Some people think the Germans are primarily from the tribe of Gad.

The Ten Lost Tribes were beat and captivated by the Assyrians. They changed their name to Scythian or Parthians then were scattered around the world.

Most people don't investigate the ancient great civilization of the Parthians. The Roman Empire captured everyone's attention for some reason I don't know why.

The laws in the OT were spiritual laws rather like we have scientific laws today.

From the law of sin comes death.

But there is a law that frees us from the law of sin and death. This law is the "law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus." Rom. 8:1

Good for you.

Do you know I know a Christian who once who told me "Everyone has to have one vice."

Lol...guess he picked that one up from listening to the world.

There's a reason a vice is called a vice.
