Reducing police funding means using that money elsewhere and for better, more effective purposes. I don't know about you, but becoming more and more militarized just seems to make police less and less trustworthy. It arguably makes them less effective too
Violent crime is way up in many (all?) of the cities that have significantly reduced their police force recently.
And please answer my question, if you would: If you were a criminal, would you want to see an increase or a decrease in police funding? Thanks.

Having said that, I don't recall any major political party declaring the slaughtering of one's baby in the womb a Constitutional Right until the Democrat Party made that their major plank.
Being on board with killing unborn babies is pretty much the purity test for any Democrat who wants to make a serious run for the White House.
