Matthew 22:21 Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."

I had some trouble finding out what Jesus views on taxes were. Google says he meant to pay your taxes, but some other views were there as well and it was quite confusing.

What were the other perspectives, and what was confusing about them? You've given such scant information it's hard to address anything in a meaningful way.

The best advice I can give right now is that the context of the statement is in response to a direct question, and so that direct question should guide how you interpret his answer.

Well I've heard people say that Jesus didn't pay taxes to Caesar but than this site says he did.

But some people on youtube quote this same thing from the bible and say he didn't!

The Bible does not specifically state that Jesus did or didn't pay taxes to the Roman government. The "temple tax" was a religious tax created by the Jewish authorities for the upkeep of the temple. So that might be some of the confusion.

However, I think it's reasonable to assume that he did pay his government taxes, because I'm pretty sure the Roman government wouldn't have been happy if he didn't pay his taxes and we have nothing to suggest that Jesus was somehow a tax evader on the run.

Why are you interested in this topic?

There was a guy who said paying taxes was going against Jesus and I thought it was interesting.

He also said Jesus didn't pay his taxes which I don't think is true so maybe the guy was giving false information.

What bothered Jesus was the way people were ripped off by the money changers at the Temple. That system was designed to enrich the religious authorities in charge of the Temple and amounted to a tax on the people who were trying to discharge their religious duty. The money in circulation was considered unclean and had to be converted to Temple money at ripoff rates for what they needed to do with it wrt the Temple. I think they bought birds or something for sacrifice.

No surprise the religious authorities were pissed off when Jesus disrupted that system the day he overturned the money changers' tables.

I'd say the analogy for today would be the way rich TV ministries manipulate people into making contributions. imo, it amounts to a religious tax.

These rich mInsters are salesman selling products. Yeah they promote the tithe too. Bible says something about they will make merchaise of you. In other words sell you stuff. That's what it appears they want from you. Gods money for their products. Sell you a book that says if give 10% you will be more well off financially. This information doesn't need to be sold and isn't totally correct but hey they gotta be financially well off and live in luxury right? Well that's what they do and promote for everyone. These minsters are meant to be in that position for a reason if I'm correct? Maybe I'm wrong.

I've heard other salesman self help gurus use the lines that they purchase other self help gurus materials and pay through the nose for it. Is that true I dunno? I do know people have said that these self help gurus are laughing and cant believe people buy their products. Is that true. I dunno either.
