Jesus Christ led with his teachings and backed them with his life.
Islam is an old covenant type religion.
Specifically, what claims? Please quote them.
Three of the world's major religions -- the monotheist traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam -- were all born in the Middle East and are all inextricably linked to one another. Christianity was born from within the Jewish tradition, and Islam developed from both Christianity and Judaism.
While there have been differences among these religions, there was a rich cultural interchange between Jews, Christians, and Muslims that took place in Islamic Spain and other places over centuries.

The old take a look at the Quran/Bible approach. I have heard this from many types of people, Athesits whom say look at this Bible/Quran quote, therefore your religion is intolerant, some Christians will say look at these Muslims and Jews, how can they deny Christ? And so on and so forth.
Christ himself talked about staying away from telling others that large groups of peaceful people are out to get.
I feel that it goes against the three religions of Abraham to oppress others, you will hear a different viewpoint from other posters though. I find that Muhammad advocated standing up for justice, you will find that in fact , Muhammad made pacts with non Muslims. Also, it was a fact that Omar(companion of Muhammad ) lifted the previous roman ban on Jews in Jerusalem.
