Well, the problem is in this hypothetical you have one group being treated only a little better, that's not really what I was talking about. I suppose if it were that homosexuals were discriminating against heteros, and were the majority, etc. etc. I would, but again, that's the problem with hypotheticals that get more ridiculous. You have to keep adding terms to make it work.
But to answer your question: if the difference is minor, then no. Bringing it back to your original, if acceptance of homosexuals had come a long way and while homosexuals were pretty well accepted though not quite 100%, I probably wouldn't do that in uteri (sp?) procedure.
