I wrote a "poem today to help make my point"
I played my best session in a long while after this too.
When you die, there are no pearly gates, no burning lakes
The court is in session
You spent your whole life looking for the man in the sky
The man who says if you live or if you die
Your living a lie
Dont let someone else tell you how to live your life
You allready know how to do that
When you die there are no pearly gates, no burning lakes
The court is in session
Did you follow your heart
Express yourself in art
Smile
When you come face to face with the person you could have been
When you think about the things you did
Or didnt do
when the sand falls, the lights fades
will you smile
Do you deserve to smile?
when the light goes out you realize
There are no pearly gates, no burning lakes.
Just a smile
I hate religion. I love my family, I give notes to the poor. I hold doors open too long, I also steal, lie and cheat.
When I was younger I would be asked to brush these "bad" things under the carpet. dont.
**** happens. deal with it. learn from your mistakes and become a better person. forgive yourself. its hard to do. a lot harder than talking to a man in a box asking for forgivness. smile more, help people and go out of your way to make the world a better place.
everyone knows how to do the right thing.
infact being told not to do things as religion does, makes me want to do it even more. let me learn for myself.
I know im not the best person to make a point, or spell or write poems. Im not trying to be good at it, I just wanted to get this off my chest...
