This forum has made me want to know more about the universe, so I have actually made the effort to look at other ways, after a long search I seem to have found one.

Unfortunately people think its a joke, but I'm ok with that, for now

I need not read these threads at all.. for I know the truth and the lie. I can tell the difference in the blink of an eye... so reading people opinions and letting 'em try to persuade me would be a waste of time. And time is the most precious thing you got in life.

Watching this "atheism-theism debate" is like watching a LAG (loose-aggressive) player trying real hard to get a calling station to fold at a poker table. You know the calling station is never going to fold, the LAG seems to have nothing, and the calling station may have the nuts anyway. Looks like an ugly, negative EV play.

Not if the LAG is only playing that way to strengthen his or her understanding about the situation. In this case, getting the calling station to fold would just be gravy.
