I believe the Creation Museum is wrong I'm afraid. Have you been? Do you believe in creationism/intelligent design or whatever you want to call it?

I don't have a very strong opinion, I'm afraid. I guess that's because it doesn't really matter if the paradigm was in literal days, relative days (due to a difference in space-time, or even metaphorical days.

I used to be a rather solid evolutionist but my religious conversion did not happen until later in life. I don't believe that science holds nearly as many answers as the atheists state that it does, however. I believe in the Bible and it's truth.

Now, as to what things are literal and what things are metaphorical, I do not always know the answer to that. At this point in time, we have to lean towards their being a lot of metaphor in the Bible.

So, I believe the creation story, but I don't know what that means in practical terms.

I think, however, that it's somewhat presumptuous to say that we understand both the theories of the Big Bang/Evolution and the makeup of space time well enough to be dismissive of the Creation story and, thusly, of the entire Bible.

EDIT to add: No, I haven't been to the museum but I've seen it covered on television and in news articles.

How to tell that someone is an ignorant creationist:

[x] refer to all scientists as "evolutionists"
[x] claim to have been an "evolutionist" at one point
[x] group the big bang with evolution together as if it were one thing
[x] randomly throw in words like space-time in an attempt to sound intelligent
[x] reject science because it doesn't have all the answers, but turn to ancient texts which have zero real answers and only imaginary ones
