Having read the body of work that Aaron W. has produced, I have seen the error of my ways. It is not politics, or epidemiology, or time spent examining graphs of pseudo-exponential functions that will save us from this pandemic, this scourge on humanity.
It is our Savior who will deliver us from the wretched place. Please join me in a circle of belief, where we chat once a day or so, and discuss how God will help us get through this difficult time.
I'll start. Earlier today, the big man spoke to me. He said "perhaps today is not a good day to get drunk". I was flabbergasted. How did He know!? He truly is omniscient.
Was wondering, is this coronavirus a product of nature, or did Jehovah, in his infinite wisdom, create it in that talking snake cult, then make sure it got in the ark (oh it didn't have to go on the ark because it isn't an animal, or even a life form), so never mind the ark thing ... we are back to Jehovah creating this thing, now we can pray to our Imaginary Boss in the Sky to get away from its scourge?
Or can we discuss it in reality based terms? Viruses predate Jesus by billions of years, mankind itself, strangely, is hundreds of thousands of years older than Jesus, is there a medical antidote to the thing, etc.?
Why is the modern society most associated with this cult the most materialistic society under the sun? Is it because the spiritual needs of mankind are not fulfilled by magic stories and myths? Yes, I think so.
Wherever two gather in his name and ask it shall be granted ... obviously no two have asked for this pandemic to stop ... either that or the religion is false. You can only get away with so much BS in the real world.
Friends, it is time for our daily prayer. We need to pray away the gay, I mean, the virus. I, for one, am so glad that churches are considered "essential services" in this time of crisis. I can think of nothing more cleansing for the human race than large numbers of fellow god-lovers congregating in an enclosed space at this difficult time.

all this video does is attack Christian people opposed to teachings of Christianity. Most blend those two things together but Christianity teaches that humans act irrationally regardless of religious beliefs. Video is basically saying human beings are dumb (using Christians as examples), nothing new here.

Of course, brother, of course. It has nothing to do at all with the fact that one of the fundamental tenets of religion is that blind faith is a virtue and to check any skepticism and critical thinking at the door. I am sure that the high incidence of humans acting irrationally in such an environment is nothing but pure coincidence.

I never heard of that fundamental tenant and it's okay to be skeptical and think critically about God. I'm not sure how believing in a creator is irrational.
