I know daniel negreanu is owed 10 million dollars and doesn't really care if he gets it back. He talked about when he was younger he would borrow someone $300 when he had $500 because he says he comes from abundance.

I've seen things in the past few weeks. I didn't buy someone $60 worth of drinks and I had the money at the time and My wallet ended up getting stolen or lost that night. I've seen a case where a person didn't give to a poor person when asked and their house ended up in a fire.

Proverbs 28:27

Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses.

I believe this still applies today. I've just seen cases of it.

What do you guys think?

Proverbs 11:24
One gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds what is right, only to become poor.

I read this too and i believe it applies to life from what i see.

I think loaning money without an expectation of being repaid is a healthy approach.

Being blessed is often a consequence of being a blessing.

If one does a good deed without an expectation of anything in return, then the worst-case-scenario is breaking even.

"It is more blessed to give than to receive". - excerpt from Acts 20:35 (Paul quoting Jesus)
