Where did I , or any other atheist call u a bigot, or think that you hate homosexuals, in the other thread?

As far as I am aware, only dereds called you a bigot, and I think hes a theist/deist?

So in what way ( other than in your imagination) does dogggs portrayal of the situation accurately reflect reality?

Take away his role in the second world war and you are left with a fairly bizarre warmonger, imperialist and very often an absolute disaster (some of his actions in WW1 as a politician had horrible outcomes).

So basically people vote like that for his image and his role in WW2. History has polished away the rest. It's not that strange. History loves drama and often merely being remembered can lead you to be attributed with an idealized faximilie of the past.

If you got that from the same wiki list that has Princess Diana as number 3 I'd ignore it completely. Anyway, most British don't know anything about Winston Churchill except that he represents our 'bulldog', 'never give up' attitude, it's what makes us British dontcha know. Apparently.
