Exodus 8:24 (The Fourth Plague)

Quote:
And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

these were flies that hurt, flies that bite

the crops in Egypt were damaged and if the design of God's Creation with its inconveniences and annoyances to deter sin are not enough-

God works all things together He will personally intervene into the unrepentant sinner's life to punish them with pain and suffering so they might stop doing that evil thing they want to keep doing

Exodus 8:25

Quote:
And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

when the sinner starts to suffer real pain and consequences they may stop doing that evil thing they previously kept doing

many people do repent and turn their life around at this stage

Exodus 8:31-32

Quote:
And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

But Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.

the unrepentant sinner however does not have a real change of heart they only want the pain and suffering to go away

once the pain and suffering stop they go right back to their evil ways

Exodus 9:3-4 (The Fifth Plague)

Quote:
Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel

the unrepentant sinner does not change their ways when they start to suffer temporary pain and consequences which eventually go away

Exodus 9:6-7

Quote:
And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead.

God gradually increases the pain and suffering and consequences to the point that the unrepentant sinner starts to look around at others and wonder "why are these horrible things happening to me and not everyone else?"

many people will finally get a clue at this point and repent and obey THE LORD

Exodus 9:7

Quote:
But the heart of Pharaoh was still hardened, and he did not let the people go.

but others will make excuses or claim they have bad luck or lash out in anger to make themselves feel better

the corrupted heart always seeks to justify itself

Exodus 9:8-9 (The Sixth Plague)

Quote:
And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

like the third plague of lice which personally touched the sinner's body because they become so comfortable putting up with inconveniences to do those evil things they want to do

this sixth plague comes without warning and rots the body with disease from the inside out

the unrepentant sinner has decided no amount of temporary pain suffering and consequences will stop them from giving into their evil desires

Exodus 9:12

Quote:
And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.

for the soul that has gone this far wayward no amount of temporary pain suffering and consequences piled together seems to deter them from doing evil

God escalates further in the remaining plagues-

increasing amounts of permanent destruction, death, and eventually judgment unless they repent and worship and obey THE LORD THEIR GOD

Exodus 9:23-25 (The Seventh Plague)

Quote:
And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

the seventh plague partially destroyed Egypt

God knows for the unrepentant sinner no amount of inconveniences or temporary punishments deters them from doing evil

He permanently takes away the things they love and partially wrecks their life so they will stop doing evil to other people and the world

Exodus 9:27-28

Quote:
And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.

there comes a point when every unrepentant sinner's heart cries out in so much pain they admit they have been wrong and they just want the destruction to stop

many people will repent at this point and obey and worship THE LORD

Exodus 9:33-34

Quote:
And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.

proud souls cannot admit to themselves they are wrong. others can't control their urges they like to do that evil thing they like to do too much

Exodus 10:3-6 (The Eight Plague)

Quote:
And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:

And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:

And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day.

the eighth plague escalated from partial destruction to total destruction

the unrepentant sinner eventually loses everything except his life

Exodus 10:8-11

Quote:
And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?

And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.

And Pharaoh said unto them, not so: go now ye that are men only, and serve the LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.

the unrepentant sinner as their life winds down in the late stages of their sickness and disease they start to bargain and plead

they want this they want that but God sets the terms He demands unconditional surrender the wicked and the evil must repent and obey

Exodus 10:14-17

Quote:
And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.

For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
Quote:
Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.

Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.

desperate bargaining and pleading attempts to negotiate with God near the end of one's evil life

Exodus 10:21-23 (The Ninth Plague)

Quote:
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:

They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days

death is the last plague before judgment three days of supernatural darkness the type of darkness that even the soul can feel

Exodus 11:4-5 (The Tenth Plague)

Quote:
And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

judgment after death is the final plague eternal damnation

never ending suffering and agony a million billion trillion years and forever more in the fires of hell

Exodus 11:6

Quote:
And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

the damned have repeatedly proven to God that their soul eternally forever seeks to do evil whatever their foul corrupted selfish heart desires

there can be no other end for the wicked and the damned their cries and protests to the contrary have already been proven empty words by their selfish actions so thoroughly tested throughout this life

Exodus 12:1-13

Quote:
And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Quote:
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
Quote:
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

JESUS CHRIST is The Lamb of God

those who believe and those who do what God asks and will repent and be baptized will be saved and have everlasting eternal life

How many plagues on top of plagues will people suffer before they realize their society their life as they know it is wicked and evil?

the world is being repeatedly warned of imminent judgment by God
