Your and Gunths two posts. I want people to feel comfortable in posting pictures and do not want then to feel that there is any ridicule going on ITT.

?? Gunth hasn't posted in this thread for weeks?

For the record, there IS ridicule in the thread. But mostly in good fun. I mean... when I posted my picture wearing riding chaps, I expected and received some good natured joshing.

Haha I remembered that, I'm surprised you didn't.

I'm coming up on my fourth state since living in SD, just trying to make enough money to get back there.

No Melchy is just short. I'm only 6'5", and despite being a decent athlete, I am truly terrible at basketball.

Yep I'm starting a math Ph.D. I'd like to do research but if I don't feel I'll be strong enough, maybe I'll just pick up a M.S. in a couple years and be an actuary.

Ugh, if you plan on making partner be forewarned a lot of them work terribly long hours.

Nah. There are a couple people in my office that work about 50 hours a week, and they're considered crazy by the rest of us. And that's in consulting, insurance actuaries very rarely work more than 40 hours a week.

Oh I'm assuming it varies by type of industry.

In some benefits consulting type companies the partners normally put in between 60 to 80 hours a week.

You know you've really lost it when you start referring yourself in the third person.
