Exorcism In Indiana - Page 5 - Religion, God, and Theology

It has to do with people who lost their belief and hid that (which included a belief in exorcisms) and I bet it's about as convincing to you as the book you described about someone who gained belief and hid it. That was the point of you making your post right, to add weight to the idea of possession by demons actually being something real? Check out this PHD who believes in exorcisms! I noticed Ken ham do the same thing a number of times in his debate with Bill Nye.

You made a blatant appeal to authority as if it would in any way whatsoever be convincing. It wasn't. I don't know why you'd think that my post was a troll.

Fact is, people who are interested in this thread, might be interested in what Dr. M. Scott Peck has to say on the issue, since he (although you dismiss it) has a Ph.D. in the field, and worked in the field for many years.

If it doesn't interest you, then don't read the book. No need for you to get your panties in a wad, posting idiotic links that have nothing relevant to the thread. Then accusing me of "blatant appeal to authority," as if this is a formal debate/argument? ROFL. I post a link germane to the thread, and accuse me of a logical fallacy? ROFL. Grow up.

lol, agreeing with Hainsey really doesn't help you a much as you think.... He was the first person I ever put on ignore, on any forum, ever. Never been tempted to take him off it once.

Of course my link was relevant, many of the people in it are the ones who would have been carrying out exorcisms, but they stopped believing and hid it for years, like the one guy in your link.

I didn't realise that fallacies don't count outside of 'formal debates', thanks for that out. Go ahead and commit them then, I guess. More insults too, they make you look really good.

You're really being obtuse. My posting in the thread about a book written by an authority in the field is not a logical fallacy as you claim. Since you made the initial claim, I'll give you a chance to back down and admit you were wrong.
