His wife is a Pastor. Apparently his daughter is as well, another female pastor married to a male pastor. In fact there are a lot of female pastors in the RCCG. Their followers call them Daddy G. O. and Mummy G. O, Enoch Adeboye and his wife respectively. A curious decision from my perspective. It's not like Paul gave a theological reason behind why women can't teach or exercise authority over men or anything.
Edit: I do wonder what the theological justification is for it. Is it that they think these female pastors are prophetesses so it's ok, and they make a distinction between gunaiki and prophetis, or do they think it's culture and since our culture is different it's nbd?
