The Enemy and the Outer Darkness The Enemy and the Outer Darkness

Quote:
The one who presides over a kingdom of outer darkness does not know mercy.
The dead are parasites on the living because the dead cannot bear to become aware of who they are. In this way, the dead are threatened and fearful of death and darkness.

As the Son of Man ventures into the outer darkness, he is doing so in order to suss out the enemy. The SoM recognizes that the enemy is attached to him in some capacity and he seeks to take the enemy into the depths of deprivation and death. The living one is unthreatened by deprivation and death. In response, the enemy frantically tries to construct a counterfeit kingdom and make it into a home. Since he is dead, he needs to be near the kingdom always to avoid perishing.

To allow the enemy to construct a counterfeit kingdom in the outer darkness and trap you there is to build a house on sand. To avoid this, the SoM remains a stranger. When the enemy attempts to construct a home with a garden, the SoM destroys the home and uproots the garden.

Still, the enemy and his powers of deception are not to be underestimated. In order to stay connected to truth and reality, the SoM needs a protocol. If his kingdom is a falsely constructed kingdom built by the enemy, then his house would not stand against adversity and chaos. So he seeks out adversity and chaos as a stress test. Further, a king can determine the health of his kingdom by examining his subjects. So the SoM regularly uses his conscious attention to audit all aspects of his self.

When the SoM identifies the enemy, then he locks on and it’s on at that point. Bottom line, there is no quarter given for the dead in the home of the living. Where do the territorial boundaries extend to for the SoM? Wherever he decides they extend to.

Listen, the Son of Man would rather serve a single seed of true righteousness in the depths of utter darkness and despair than be glorified for serving the hollow. All he needs is one seed.
