Do you believe in God? - Page 9 - Religion, God, and Theology

Can any Christian say that Christianity is simply one of the religions like all the rest, that it was man's attempt to explain things and create a system of morality? Once you do that, you have a whole different footing and you are free to just drop the things that are obviously wrong. Then you have something good, something that improves ... instead of dogma that we have this perfect system and never mind the loving killing god conflict. That is, apologetics would be adjourned and critical thinking would be empowered.

I cant believe in this day and age people would still engage in a debate with a religious person about the existence of God. It's like arguing with a Trump supporter; every point they make is done in bad faith, no pun intended. Look at how he simply responds with low effort single word responses to entire paragraphs worth of discussion. He's not here to debate, he's here to troll, to wear you down so he call pull the ole "check-mate AtHiEsTs!" card and smugly walk away like he won.
