Do something good today - Page 9 - Religion, God, and Theology

I got stuck in line behind some people the other day that had picked the wrong item (one that wasn't on sale), and didn't believe the cashier when she said there was no sale. They made the bag boy run all the way to find the item and check to make sure there was no sale. When he confirmed no sale, they just didn't buy the item. This was to save like $2 out of a $140 bill.

Agreed. My wife pointed out afterward that the guy in the story above was wearing Seven Jeans.

I just cannot comprehend this sort of thing. Creating drama over $2 that you don't need just makes life tough. Life is just so much better when you are easy going.

I watched a few 'good christians' who would certainly damn me to hell given the opportunity carrying their bible walk past a lady with a kid and a flat tire and not offer to help her. So as the heathen atheist I am, I changed her flat tire. Oh yea, My leg is infected right near the knee, which makes it painful to bend down and stuff.

Maybe the guys with their good books should have read a little more closely what jesus said. I am sure god would forgive them for being late to their prayer service.

I did some stuff today but i still dont know if absolute morality exists so i cant know if any of it was good or bad.

Is eating peoples babies good or bad i always forget?

Recycling is good..... I don't do it because I have this idea that it's the governments way of getting people to contribute to their evil plan.

For instance.... in the old days... bums could pick up cans and sell them to the aluminum recycle plant (at least that's what Howards dad told me)... but now... not only do they no longer pay top dollar for these cans... they charge YOU for picking them up in front of your house.
