Today and yesterday I leveled and then re-leveled JoeyDiamonds in a thread and he seemed to gain enjoyment from both of them. As did I for that matter, so thats like two mega super deeds in less than 24hrs - a truly unprecedented record in this thread.

No....the actual front yard. Today...time permitting... I'm going to spray my other neighbors yard. I owe him some weed killer so I'll just do the yard for him.

I wish I was your neighbor..... except for the part about living next to a devil worshiping atheist that has a front row seat reserved in HELL.

The scotch would be nice.

(do I explain or just see how many people think I was serious?)

(TOTALLY serious about the scotch though)

They love JEEEEZUS. I choose not to argue religion with them

here is your chance to prove god exists.

I filled the bottle with water. When I wake up in the morning if it is full of scotch again, I'll go to church 3 times a week for the rest of my life.

you've been slacking on your good deeds recently unless you're leaving some out.

I opened the door for someone today, the machine is messed up so you have to move quickly from when you swipe to get to the door before it locks again. I also stopped in on an old friend and chatted to her for 10 minutes or so over a cigarette.

You are an observant one.....

Well... here's the thing.... I try to not post things that deal with money as much because someone made the point that it's hard to do monetary good deeds if you don't have extra money....

So.... it's not that I only do good things, or try to, that involve money in some sort... it's just that it's easier sometimes.
Call me lazy...I'd rather give $100 to a walk-against-cancer event than actually go out there and walk 15 miles.

I'll try harder... how's that?

i didn't mean to sound rude Joey, I just like hearing about your good deeds and wondered why you'd stopped posting daily.

It was my last day working in a different department than usual and they gave me a selection of small cakes as a leaving gift. I gave half the cakes to some friends I know who all did quite badly in their exams recently to try and cheer them up.

I need to try and think up more ways of doing good deeds but I often don't seize the initiative on a daily basis.

No worries brother.... I didn't think you were being rude at all.

OK... here's my good deed for today.

Have you ever been in one of those situations where you have to wait in line with others... there's an OBVIOUS line but you see this one person who pretends to not know that the line is there?
They walk up to mid-line and never even look back and just wait for the slightest little gap to appear...then BAM ! ! they're in.

That happened this morning at the local convenient store... stopped in to get a Monster and some beef jerky.... probably 7 people waiting in line when i got in line.

Then the sidler appears and starts to make her move... well.... the first 3 people in front of me decided they weren't going to have any part of this and tightened the line. As the cow finally had to show her hand and acknowledge the other people...she made eye contact with a woman 2 in front of me...
"Are you in line?" she says

"Ummmm...yes...we all are"

The cow looks back and now decides that there is NO WAY she is going to the back of the line and declares "Well...I must be behind you because I know I have been here longer than all those people"... and she decides to squeeze in line. The guy she cuts in front of wants nothing to do with this and says nothing. The next guy...directly in front of me decides he does. He steps out of line...approaches this wonderful middle-easterner and says "The line starts back there" and he points to the back of the line.
She says "No way... I've been here longer than them...I'm in line HERE!"
Well... this guy grabs her and pulls her out of line and she screams as loud as she can and tries to get back in line in front of him.

Where's my good deed? Here's my good deed:

I watched as this middle-eastern cow screams and throws a temper tantrum until she eventually falls on the floor... we actually step over her to get to the counter...I'm checking out as the cops come in and I tell the truth.

She claims that the man threw her to the ground and beat her for "no reason"... I told the exact truth.

Short story long.... SHE went to jail and he was released and I was late to work.
