What is at least undisputed and understood is that the brain is more than capable of on its own to produce what appears to be sensory experience , and it can do so convincingly and vividly.

Personally I do not find the spiritual interpretation of sensations experienced during altered states of consciousness very compelling. It seems more like using thunder as evidence of gods riding their chariots in the sky than anything else. Iow. a pretty story, but not a good explanation.

Almost unfathomable that you decided to try DMT alone w/out any psych experiences in nearly 20 years. IMO definitely heed what others have already stated regarding set & setting & having a coach / sitter with you.

I'm no mod, but an open forum thread is probably not the best place to discuss how to procure DMT and get it past customs.
