He deserves no sympathy. That is his biggest trick: getting people to think that he wants the best for you, when he despises you and seeks to steal, kill, and destroy you.

Ask for God to show you the truth, and he will.

Problem with most is they don't seek knowledge, but rather seek pleasure. People perish for lack of knowledge because they would rather enjoy the temporary pleasures of this world over eternal glory. Eternity is a long time.

Just read through those lyrics. The veil has not been lifted for so many of you. You are slaves to a world system that wants to keep you in bondage. Terrible way to live, man. If you tell me these songs are a coincidence or that they are not significant to downcast, programmed world that will live in, then you are truly a fool. Our days are numbered as well, so to think you have until you are 60 or 70 or 80 or whatever before you have to deal with this, is just foolish as well. This is going to be my last post. I can't waste my time with this useless debates, with carnal minded people that are just looking for excuses. You have been fooled, deceived into believing that this is all there is to life, when the reality is that the spiritual world is more real than the material world.

I don't disagree but I think that religions are a large part of that. You're clearly religious, do you consider yourself free?

Maybe you've been fooled into thinking that there's more?

I'm curious if you have any evidence to back up your claim about the 'reality' of the spiritual world, or were you speaking metaphorically?

I've come to completely the opposite conclusion, that personal happiness is a fine way to measure the quality of one's life. Obv it's more complex than that but I aim for happiness, even at the expense of material wealth which is the generally accepted measure of success in the Western world.

What's more, to keep this vaguely on the forum topic, I'm happy without needing a god or three to believe in.

One thing I've observed over the years, whether perceived as reality or just my imagination, is that that people who consider themselves too intelligent or math and science oriented to believe in a creator are consistently the emotionless, dark humored types that would make fun of a dead man, foolish though he may have been
