Did Man Create God? Did Man Create God?

If we just say that God is patient, does that satisfy the OP? It doesn't seem like a very solid objection to begin with.

Because we can and animals can't.

No, of course you can't.
This will give you a numerical comparison between quality of the universe and the quality of the "divinely inspired" Bible:

1,000,000,000,000,000,000 ≠ 0.000000000000000000001

and I was generous.

Yet you believe that God created both of them, don't you?

Do you believe this was created (first)

and then this? by the same artist?

Various epistemic uncertainties preclude this, but let us just say it is on the order of magnitude chance as all of the numerous other gods and mystical creatures and fantasies that you reject. Thor, unicorns, martian teacups and the like.

Perhaps, when you ask a question like this, you could also explain how one might possibly find the answer to it. After you have done so, I'll see what I can do.

Yes, and no logic-free bare assertion on your part has given me reason to doubt it.

Quite right.

Though keep in mind that the equivalence I am implying here is yet another of my subjective opinions, since I can't show any work for it either.
Fixed by adding necessary, but omitted, disclaimer.

Mankind has dominion over all other animals. There are many distinctions made between man the the rest of creation.
Okay, God doesn't need me. He is totally independent of me. Why do I need to worship him? Why do I need to please him?Why is he controlling me? Why is he expecting things from me? Since he is a totally independent and self sufficient entity, he should treat me as his other creations.

Why do I have dominion over other species? Does he need a watchman to look over this planet?

Theology has never been able to explain things or worldly phenomenon without making huge assumptions at every other step. Even after making those huge assumptions, we are not able to explain God's wishes and the physical and natural phenomenons.

Don't you think its only logical to believe what we see instead of trusting some book which has no authenticity. How can the people who wrote it be more advanced than us? How can they ever do justice to something as complicated as theology? How can it trusted to be God's word?

Isn't it more possible that everything was mythical? isn't it more possible that things were blown out of proportion when the story of Jesus passed from one ignorant villager to another? Don't you think that it could be a myth which grew and grew due to aggressive work of Missionaries all over the world?

I would say all of the above looks more probable than the limited logical reasoning that theists offer for existence of God.

The theory is that long ago, in the "Holy Land", some people had magical powers. They could heal people, change things into something else (including inorganic into organic), fly through the air, and receive divine messages from God. But those things don't happen anymore.

Now they need regular transfusions of money.

I was asking in case it was written anywhere in scripture. Seems to be an important question.
