There are people who by nature are curious, that are also religious.
Are there people who are OK with living in perpetual curiosity that are religious?

Perpetual curiosity means never cashing in...

It's a pretty interesting question. But curiosity can be different, and people can do totally different things to satisfy curiosity. And if their curiosity doesтєе cause conflicts with religion, then why give up on it then. I was writing about curiosity and its' place in our lives, and here I read some interesting articles about it, but I think there was no connection with religion. And it's kinda interesting, and it makes you think. I wonder if there are some sources online where I can read about it.

Well a lot of religion is about we start with the answer, it's given to us from some supernatural realm, the answer is final and omniscient, and so there isn't much room for curiosity or even respect for the Great Mystery. In an odd way, as many have noted, it is an anti-faith posture. "I want absolute certainty, the final answer right away, and I want it to be eternal and from omniscience." That's about lack of faith, or lack of trust.

I am curious (naturally given the topic of the thread). Are you implying that if your curiosity leads to a conflict with your religion that you should give up on your curiosity? Why? Is your religious faith too weak to incorporate new information you might discover? Maybe that is an indication that something you believe is untrue. If so, would you not want to find that out? And if what you believe is in fact true, then how could your curiosity lead you to find something conflicting with it?
