In the closet atheists - Page 2 - Religion, God, and Theology

I know so many atheists, it's actually weird. I wonder if my generation is producing way more atheists, or if I am seeing a disproportionate number of them.

I couldn't find a closet if I tried. We constantly debate religion and politics at my fraternity house and at home. Weird stuff..

With all this said, religious organizations including members of all faiths are very generous in giving to the needy, even though very few charities are effective/legitimate.

This is a very lame objection to Christianity and Christians (though I hear to towards Jews and Muslims as well). It's an objection I offered as a bitter, angsty adolescent. It is not the Christian's job or expectation to save the world.
