Myself i'm an atheist. The only thing I believe in are spiritual concepts from japanese culture and Qi. Was wondering what other people think of this vid.

I mean no offense to christians because everyone is free in their own beliefs but isn't this kind of ridiculous and pure for a good laughter?

If you wanted an honest critique you should have posted this in a Christian forum.

All atheists are going to do is confirm your biases.

What biases, there are no biases here.

All human beings possess biases.

Atheists tend to show certain biases also. So if you're an atheist you're doing a confirmation of your own group bias by posting here.

If you really believed what you say then you'd show some spunk and take your questions over to a Christian forum and get enlightenment from another perspective.

Who do you think knows how a Christian really thinks? A Christian or a non-Christian?

Non-Christians don't know what a Christian really thinks on this and there could be a range of Christian opinions.

You'll never get the full range here. Only a cut and dried atheist objection or quip.

List of cognitive biases (quite extensive...makes you wonder if there's any they haven't discovered...):

splenda, you've been spreading your biases here for approx 8 years. You're probably one of the most prolific writers and the one riddled with the most cognitive biases. What are you complaining about?

I was kind of amused. I liked where it said that metal promotes sexuality and then, in parenthesis "including bisexuality". In case people weren't sure.

I'd guess they were wrong about that part. Metal has always seen pretty stridently heterosexual to me.

I've never understood the appeal of that music. They pretty much had to subtitle the lyrics because you can't understand what the singers are saying. I like a lot of different kinds of music throughout my life but Metal has always been unlistenable crap to me. While some of the stuff seems to require some skillful guitar playing, its just highly precise noise.

About the only good thing about the lyrics is that they upset a lot of people who take it all too seriously. There's something amusing watching people get into a tiff over music lyrics. THEY PROMOTE SEX DRUGS AND ROCK AND ROLL! WHO WILL THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!

It's funny how Gorgoroth was singing one of the blackest songs out there, and in the end lead vocals and lyric writer freely describes him as a gay. And he is making clothes for the woman.

So much this, people like Marilyn Manson owe their entire career to the fact that parents get freaked out by sexually ambiguous zombie-eyed musicians. Back in the day kids had to join a motorcycle gang, now they can rebel for the price of a CD.

I didn't watch the video OP, but I assume the video is explaining the demonic powers and purpose of rock music, which is the sole purpose of rock music - to put demonic influence in your life, and heavy metal is the most obvious. I use to attend rock concerts with my friends and if you don't believe there is demonic possession then i suggest you take a look at some of these concerts. Ever wonder why people fight and go in mosh pits at these rock concerts? It is demonic influence and the power of the music that causes it.

AAAGH. a man shake his hips in a way that is suggestive of sexual thrusts. People who never had sexual urges will now become prostitutes. Quick. Light the prayer signal. We need some group prayer, STAT!

'Demonic' influence is just a load of horse ****. It's designed to piss someone off so that someone else can rebel.

The real icing on the cake is using the amazing skill of the musicians to prove demonic possession. Horse ****. First off, these dudes aren't even that good. I'll take any Death Metal guitarist and put him up against the likes of John Petrucci, and he'll make their fingers bleed. Every one of these drummers would recognize the superior skill of a Mike Portnoy or Mike Mangini. There are people who actually practiced their craft 6+ hours a day for years, and the end result is that they are amazing skilled. Not possessed.

Odd. I've been to probably 100 or so rock concerts and I've spent time in a mosh pit and never once was there any mention of demonic powers. While I saw a few people who seemed like jerks there was never anything that seemed unhuman-like. Most people were just trying to enjoy music and dance. They they would go home and do entirely undemonic things.

Its sort of odd that after having attended all of these shows, I've still never killed anyone, sacrificed anyone, had a conversation with a devil, etc.

Maybe you're attracted to demons and just have a knack for picking the shows and the bands where all the demons go?
