To give your body over to the Son of Man and follow him along the narrow path is like a child following their estranged father. Sometimes it is that simple - become the child and follow.

Other times, it is not so simple. There are times when the child cannot see or hear. Still, even the child who cannot see can give its body over to the SoM. This is what it means to believe without seeing.

Instead of becoming a child that sees and follows the man in the light, you become a child who follows a child in darkness and silence. It is one level of faith to become a child and turn your body over to a difficult man who you can see and then follow him. It is another layer of trust to become a child and follow another child in chaotic darkness.

The SoM is a man who leads in the light and a child who leads in the darkness. The SoM is also the child who follows both.

“I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves.”

To become the child, or give control of the body to the child, is an act of vulnerability, knowing the dangers of the narrow path. We have to corner ourselves and will ourselves to overcome our resistance to it. It is like becoming a sheep among wolves.

Still, only the child can enter through the tight spaces along the journey.

The child in the darkness is the cornerstone - the rejected one who enters first. The man in the light prepares the way, but he enters last, only after each of the children left in the darkness enter first. None are left behind.

The builders are the servants of the enemy. They build fake kingdoms and reject the shattered, uncompromising child who knows the difference between his kingdom and an imitation.

Jesus is the man in the light who descended and prepared the way.

Many believe that he ascended into the Kingdom of Heaven at the end of the story. That is incorrect. He ascended back to the beginning of the story to assist the abandoned children in their descension and journey.

The Kingdom of Heaven is below in the darkness, not above in the light. The man in the light prepares the way and then goes back to the beginning to gather the children and bring them along. The child in the darkness is able to navigate through the story because the man in the light is with that child.

Only the evil seek to kill the child in the darkness, who is the chosen one.

Abraham desired to journey along the narrow path. He knew he needed to find the child who is chosen. The enemy standing in the God position gave Abraham a son called Isaac.

After Isaac was born, he and his brother Ishmael became rivals over which was the rightful heir. Abraham chose Isaac because of his light and Ishmael was cast out. However, Isaac’s light was a deception meant to trap Abraham.

Eventually, Abraham began to realize the deception and he became divided against himself. Part of him was still quite attached to Isaac and his light. The only way to free himself from this attachment was to kill Isaac.

As Abraham was dragging Isaac up the mountain to kill him, Abraham was convinced that he was doing God’s will, for the sake of the child in the darkness. Although, in that moment Isaac became the rejected child abandoned by God. In that moment, Isaac became the child in the darkness and only the evil kill the child in the darkness. Fortunately, Abraham was able to come to his senses before he could give the fatal strike.

The children in the enemy’s light will oppress and do evil against the children in the darkness. And they will face God’s wrath in the name of justice. However, in that time, the oppressors in the enemy’s light become children of darkness, rejected and abandoned by God.

Here is the point:
Within each oppressive child of the enemy’s light exists a child of darkness, who is the chosen one.
Within each child of darkness exists the enemy looking to carry out his destruction.
PAY ATTENTION. Just like how Abraham was able to assess the situation honestly and repent in righteousness.

Thank you for all these expositions, I read also another older thread from you. I find all of this precious, for multiple reasons. You use stories, symbols and myths in the way they were meant to be used. That is rare nowadays. Hope to read more from you!

Yes, we are meant to go deeper into the stories and symbols. I’m in a position to take the lead with this and will continue to do the work.

There are two aspects of the story which come together through the pattern of baptism. I already mentioned how the child in the dark, together with the man in the light, descend from above.

Then, there is the human individual who is “of the world”. Once the human individual intuits a loss of meaning and meaningful progress, it’s now time to clear the way and receive the child in the dark from above. This requires creating a space by separating or detaching from the world.

The child in the dark can only enter into the world in darkness. Remember, above is light and below is darkness, which is why baptism is an act of sinking down. So baptism is to sink down into the darkness as a human individual, clear a space separate from the world, and receive the child in the dark (plus man in the light) from above into the world.

We can think of the child in the dark as the seed and baptism as the plowing / preparing of the human individual in order to receive the seed. Most people think of baptisms taking place in public or within a church setting. But these baptisms in the light, which are useful practices, are merely rituals. While it is necessary to act as if rituals are the real thing in order to extract their full value, eventually we are to brave the real baptism in private darkness.

In Genesis 2, God creates a man. He creates a man? Is this how reality works?

Where is the child? Why does God skip the child? Why does God not want us to remember the child?

Humanity lived in paradise and then there was a fall from paradise. This is how the story goes.

When a baby comes into this world, we all know to create a paradise for that child. We know to do that at a deep level, no matter the circumstances of that child.

When was / is the first fall from paradise? The actual original sin? Search your heart and you will remember the truth.

What is a shattered child supposed to do?

All he can do is, through his tears, make a vow. Like a message in a bottle, he releases it into the hands of fate, hoping he will receive it when he is older and more capable.

We all serve a word. Many serve the word from above and call it their own. This is a privilege of power - to have people serve your will without them even being aware of it.

The word from below — the promise in a bottle which washes up at your feet — comes from the powerless child.

You cannot serve two masters. Pick the right one or the wrong one will be automatically chosen for you.

The one who serves the child in the dark will find the child still shattered in pieces. This individual will need to also be a parent to the child and gather the pieces together like a shepherd gathers his lost sheep.

Still, the sacred vow made by the child must be honored like the good son who honors his father.
