Neither of my parents were Christians. I didn't become a Christian until I was 30. At the time, I was a part-time Philosophy instructor. Most of that time period, I was in a non-Christian environment almost 24/7 until I was born again.

so coming here pretending to have a pseudo intellectual debate over something that nothing more than a personal opinion that you are (consciously or not) too afraid to own up as anything other than a ruling from up on high out of your control is cowardly, disingenuous and pathetic.
Thank you for sharing your opinion of me. You'll be delighted to know, that I don't care what your opinion of me is, any more than I suspect you care what my opinion of
you is.

you choose to view gay people as icky - that's the bottom line. just own it and quit this absurd pretense. you're here on a poker forum ffs arguing about it, freud would have a field day with you
I don't view gay people as "icky." The Bible says that homosexuality is a sin. I always agree with what the Bible says. I also agree with the Bible when it says that "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." That includes me, and that includes you. We are all sinners, but we don't all sin in the same way. But Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross paid the penalty for my sins, for your sins, and for the sins of all homosexuals, and for all the sins of straight people, and all the sins of
everybody. You can have eternal life
right now by trusting in Jesus Christ
alone for your salvation.
