How ****ing weak is that?

Why exactly did God give us our sensory organs for? To deny his existence with each and every one of them?

Can you hear God with your ears? I don't think so.
Can you see God with your eyes? I don't think so.
Can you feel God with your hands? I don't think so.
Can you smell God with your nose? I don't think so.
Can you taste God with your mouth? I don't think so.
Is your heart a sensory organ? I don't think so.

So.. God is in your brain? I don't think so, but this is the last place left.

Can you hear, see, feel, smell or taste God with your brain? I doubt it.

bold
almost deserves its own thread..

If God grants it.

So that still means no, you can't. Nice try though.

Some people claim to have had contact with God: Joan of Arc for one.

"Joan asserted that she had visions from God that instructed her to recover her homeland from English domination late in the Hundred Years' War. The uncrowned King Charles VII sent her to the siege of Orléans as part of a relief mission. She gained prominence when she overcame the dismissive attitude of veteran commanders and lifted the siege in only nine days. Several more swift victories led to Charles VII's coronation at Reims and settled the disputed succession to the throne."

You mean the 19 year old girl that was burned at the stake because she thought she was special, like Jesus? And then later was coined, many years after her death, a martyr (just like Jesus, way after his death)? That girl? That's who you're going to throw at me from the billions of people that have lived on this planet?

Again, nice try.

P.S. I don't think "visions" count. Fwiw, I could have "visions" of seeing God. I just need some good ayahuasca

I don't think you have the authority to say who counts for anyone but yourself and you may want to think about why you automatically reject things "with explanations" before you've considered them.

She claimed to have visions and you can't disprove it as you are only an outsider with no access to her inner world.

No.

It's like saying "Liking apples = hating oranges?"

I don't have the authority, you are correct. And neither does anyone else. So it's as useless for me to deny as it is useless for you (as your example).
