lol. did you read Stu's reason why. I noticed the same thing that atheists seemed to be giving 5 stars to every atheist thread, even when it was absolutely horrible. Since this is the interwebs, i retaliated.

You talking about me? I don't rate threads, or pay attention to thread ratings. Whoever is doing that is engaged in a petty and useless activity IMO.

I think the atheists here are meaner than the theists. Then again, I also think they're smarter and funnier, so it evens out. The worst atheist sin here is having no sense of humor when the theists make jokes. And often, watching those jokes go sailing overhead because the atheist posters are so eager to take offense.

It's a crime I'm guilty of myself, David especially gets me over and over again.

I figured you would. You seem a lot more open minded than my Christian Grandma. That thread would melt her brain. I'm sure there were many pics I and others posted that we're boring, stupid, offensive, etc, but by chance alone there should also be many pics that theists and atheists find funny/amusing.

Speaking for myself, I tend to pick them apart. There are some things they say that I agree with and some things I disagree with. You cannot say the same thing about your relationship with God. Disagreement gets you burnt for a long time.

Aside from that, if someone were to post a pic of Hitchens nailed to a cross with comic blurbs above it, do you honestly think an atheist would personally be offended in the least?

Well you're not a diehard atheist then coz they exist.

Generally any time you challenge someone's ideas you run the whole gamut of detached/mildly engaged to flaming radical/fanatic and that goes for any group of people. Doesn't matter if its religion, atheism, politics, economics, etc. If somebody feels strongly about it there will be somebody who has internalized it to the point he lacks the ability to react reasonably.

There are more Atheist in RGT then theist so theist are naturally going to be under the microscope. I wonder how an Atheist or group of Atheist would be received on a predominantly Christian board. Truth is it's kind of a refreshing thing because irl at least for me it's totally the opposite and I know far more Christian then Atheist and it's my beliefs that are under the microscope.

What exactly is a "diehard" atheist? Christians love to make the claim that "everybody worships SOMETHING" but can you find me an atheist who actually worhips Richard Dawkins or Charles Darwin the way a Christian would worship their god?

Oh, geesh, I’m glad I read this. I haven’t paid any money yet or posted a pic yet on match.com, but I’ve created a profile. Evidently, now I’m going to have to change it. I said: “ I don’t mind religious folk, it’s churches that bother me. What’s up with the hard wooden pews? If they want 10% of my salary, they’re going to have to provide me with Lazy Boy recliners and beer”

Do I seriously need to change this? Could you please PM me any helpful hints about this stuff.
