What's your opinion of those Ads?

I don't think that telling theists 'there's probably no god' is ever going to change anything and adding 'so enjoy your life' is just going to appear hedonistic and probably satanically motivated advice to many Christians....

I think every element of the Ad copy is simply going to rub theists up the wrong way and have the opposite effect from that intended.

IIRC the ad wasn't particularly aimed at theists, it was more intended to establish that non-belief is fairly widespread and that non-believers aren't obliged to be reticent about expressing their non-belief. A call to come out of the closet, you might say.

Based on all the available evidence that is not in a religious book, is there a God? No one can answer that with any proof either way. We can't have any kind of an educationed discussion on the nature of God without some impartial evidence, so why go out of one's way just to jam opinions down someone's throat?

You'd have a point if religion did not permeate almost all of society. I don't think that it is fair to demand to stay on the sidelines when so many things are done in the name of religion that one disagrees with.
