You went off track again. I will later create a thread about this and we can discuss it. You ignore the point of the Pauline Epistles and parts of the Gospel which were written with the idea that Jesus had already resurrected.

No need to start another thread. Its just one interpretation that you are using to try to win an argument.

I don't need some "expert's" opinion about the Pauline epistles on this because its pretty clear from reading the books by the prophets in the OT that there will be a scattering and regathering of Israel and that scattering has actually happened and the regathering is occurring.

Besides Revelation updated anything Paul might have expected. John received and wrote his vision later. Revelation is the book written the latest.

Plus the Gospels were written and distributed while many of his followers were still living to contest. Yet there's no dissenting account from among his followers.

We do have corroboration he lived (at least pre-Resurrection) from both historians and his opponents.
Historians: Josephus and Tacticus. Opponents: the Pharisees who mention him in the Talmud.

what I do believe and many people do is that our world or the mayority of live in the earth will be destroyed sometime because of a asteroid or something like that, many things could happen and we don't have the technology to predict it and to stop it, wtf if the sun will explote like any other star some day

of course chances are that I, my sons and my grand... will be death until then, so I prob don't care

I dont believe in God or Armageddon, but do believe the world is headed for disaster. World War 3 will happen imo, its just a matter of time.

I dont think it will be the end of the world or the end of people. Here is my question, after nuclear war happens on a grand scale will the people still around abandon organized religion?

I see abandoning organized religion as the next step in human evolution.
