I certainly do not claim do have any knowledge of what the next 100 years will hold. I am not a psychic nor do I have an ancient text to rely on for the answers. If I could predict economical shifts I would be a very rich man
All I could ever give you would be somewhat educated guess or indeed opinions of what the next 100 years "may" hold for humanity. For reasons already stated they would not be in any way detailed nor would I ever claim them to be anything other than a guess. Here are a few of my guesses as I feel bad not to even make an attempt for you:
1. I suspect the role religion currently plays in American life and politics will be much weaker in 100 years than it is now.
2. Governments across the world will be forced to reconsider their goals of constant growth and capitalism fueled enlargement in the light of increasing issues of starvation, the environment, unstable economies, unsustainable resources, over-population across the globe etc. (already happening to some extent)
3. (not relevant to your suggestions of predictions you would like me to make) I feel that the phenomenon of "pop" music will fade as the music industry downsizes and relocates online providing people with instant access to different genres and styles of music they may never have otherwise come across.
All of these are my thoughts and of course are shaped by the world we live in today and are limited as a result of my natural limitations and many shortcomings. There is a good chance I could be way off on some or all of my points and I would be happy to discuss them in light of others viewpoints. This is simply not the case when someone believes a 2000 year old text of ignorant and understandably fearful views on the end of the world are to be considered the literal truth. Such unwavering faith in non-sense is a frightening and dangerous prospect and has caused and will continue to cause much suffering for many people across the world.
