Yet another man-made story. Add it to the long list.

Kinda funny that they completely sidestep why we should believe in God but not in Santa.
That and the fact his picture on the top ten list of wanted terrorists is next to OBL who does believe in Jesus, god and the afterlife.

I dunno, i guess its written for children (?) but it is woefully simplistic that i cant believe people consider it worth showing to anyone. Then again im pretty sure i stopped believing in god before i stopped believing in santa.

Jesus would have been an economic liberal and probably closer to being a social liberal than a social conservative. I mean he had a solid dislike of the rich for a start, so the idea of extending tax cuts for those earning over 250k would disgust him, the story of the loaves and fish is literally redistribution of wealth, and he was all about leading by example and speaking to those who doubted and never forcing his views on people.

Of all the religious figures in modern religions i think Mohammed is probably closest to being a modern Republican.

Basically the one issue i think Jesus (and yourself) share with the modern Republican party is being against abortion and i dont think Jesus would try and force his views on women through the law by banning it. He would go along with the small government crowd to some degree too im sure but lets face it, the GOP is no more small government than the Dems are.

i have no problem with santa. it is evident that santa doesn't actually exist once you reach age 8. i would have a much bigger problem telling my kids about santa if there was a chance they'd carry the belief throughout life. as it is it's akin to a joke, while religion can have more profound impacts.

It is equally obvious that God does not exist.

Try getting a prayer actually answered, for example. Or the obvious fabrication and imperfection of his "Holy Word".
