It's been suggested that the "burning the Koran" grievance has mostly been played up by the Western press. The population in Afghanistan certainly has other grievances.

It feeds into the "mad angry Muslim" narrative that is being peddled by various interests. That's what happens when you kill innocent, defenceless people. They get angry, demand to know why and retaliate by whatever means they have at their disposal.

What is the position of modern and medieval Islam on the consumption and production of Cannabis for whatever purpose it may be? (known in the West by it's Mexican term of Marijuana)

i think if you're caught with a joint of hashish it's probably a mandatory stoning
