Because after receiving Christ the very next thing they should be taught is the power of temptation and how to put on the whole armor of God.

After being saved it should be stressed that you should read the whole bible as soon as possible because only the bible gives you the tools to divide truth from deception. But a lot of Christians don't read the whole bible or know how to put on the armor. Because the ministers are lazy or didn't think things all the way out. They just tell you to stay in church.
