BTN is a 31/10 drooler. also very aggro, and goes to showdown a lot. im not too worried about what he has on the flop. he'd do this with any ace, and any draw imo.

$200.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

UTG: $611.14
MP: $222.70
CO: $119.50
BTN: $156.80
Hero (SB): $662.05
BB: $409.75

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is SB with K A
UTG raises to $7, 2 folds, BTN calls $7, Hero raises to $30, 1 fold, UTG calls $23, BTN calls $23

Flop: ($92.00) A 3 Q (3 players)
Hero bets $41.00, UTG calls $41, BTN raises to $126.80, Hero calls $85.80, UTG calls $85.80

Turn: ($472.40) K (3 players)

looking for best line here...given utg's tendencies, should we let him bet? or if we bet into him, what bet sizing would be most effective? (I have $505 left, UTG has $454 left, BTN is all-in.)

any thoughts on this hand in general would be appreciated.
You're up 3 buy-ins. Thank the LORD!

Is this some sort of zen koan post to try and fry everyone's pumpkin? Like, it's not but it is but it's not but... is it?

I'm off to the poker forums to start a thread about jesus.

Stokin' job.

Why are you just calling the btn raise on the flop? Especially after utg just smooth calls your lead bet previous to the btn raise?

being that the btn is already all-in an utg has a history of over valuing hands, possibly to extract the most out of utg instead of pushing him out of the hand?

possibly (as raptor says) 'ghey' bet at him to keep him in the hand, like $120?

Gambling is a sin.

if i reraise the flop, there's no way tptk will be good. ill either shove out worse hands, or lose 3 buyins with top pair. utg was bad, but not that bad.

I dont know how much live poker you play, but one major mistake you made was only betting less than 1/2 pot when the pot was at 92.00....with a straight draw on the board and a flush draw with deep stacks.......

You should have bet at least 3/4 of pot, personally I would have bet full or over bet the pot, because you most likely weren't going away in this situation no matter what came back at you.......

If they had a flush draw here and went all in you were calling weren't you?
I mean if you thought they had a flush draw?

Maybe I am reading this wrong, but you made a major live game mistake.......especially deep stacked..........

Poker is coooomplicated.

I guess I'll lock this, even though I'm amused at the RGT folks discussing poker.
