I am seeking a staking deal preferably with some coaching as well to be able to play live tournaments and cash games at my local casinos.

A little about me, my name is Ryan, I am 24 years of age from Scotland. I started playing poker at 18 while living in England, mainly pub tournament poker where I won quite a decent amount of money (roughly £3k) and a lot of trophies. I play online as well but mainly cash games on Pokerstars. I was a 25NL regular back in 2015 but at the moment I am currently starting from scratch to get back to where I was after I took a 2 year hiatus away from poker in 2016 due to personal reasons. I have also cashed in the odd online tournament but I hardly play these as I prefer playing cash online and tournaments live.

I've done rather well in live tournaments before, not played as many as I would like to due the 2 year hiatus but I have had a few cashes at Dusk Til Dawn in Nottingham, Ricoh Arena in Coventry and also my local casinos in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I am by no means the greatest player but I am definitely honest, hard working and willing to put in a lot of work, commitment and effort into continuing to improve my game. Staking me will be a challenge and a project for sure but I do feel I have the potential to be a consistent winner in both cash and tournaments.

At this moment in time I am currently receiving a 'stake' from a family member to play a couple of live tournaments and cash games a week for a month or so starting this Monday. I don't want to be too reliant on him for too long though, as I can't get any coaching/talk strategy etc with him and he is obviously a family member and it feels like a cop-out. It has been 2 years since I last played live but hopefully that won't affect anything. It's like riding a bike after all, you never forget. I feel I play much better live than I do online since i'm physically sat at a poker table with real people rather than staring at a screen.

I would be up for doing a 'trial' period of sorts where I play with my own money for a set period of time and if you are happy with my overall play (I will go over hand histories etc with you) at the end of the trial period you can decide whether i'm worth taking on or not.

I won 7bb/100 after 50k hands at 5NL and I am currently at 10NL played 10k hands so far winning at 12bb/100 (obviously a small sample but I played a lot more hands at these stakes before my hiatus from 2013-2016 and have beaten them)

I don't have any references in the poker world unfortunately, never been staked or anything before but there are a few people from my pub playing days who i'm sure would put in a good word for me. Also I have been contributing as much as I can in the forums, made a few transactions to play some of the forum games with other members (2+2 Fantasy Football League, IKTS and English Premier League PEEHS side bet) but i'm not sure i've made a big enough contribution on here yet to have anyone from 2+2 recommend me.
