well I guess I will give this a try in hopes of some good coming out of it. Never been a member of 2+2......honestly just always was on p5s and ****. But recently have been sorta looking around for someone or people that back. I never even knew about this topic, i saw a link on p5s and i just spent about the last hour reading through 31 pages lol. Basically im 22, been playin the game pretty hardcore for about 3 years.....have had some descent results. My main site has been stars....but recently with my bank closing bank deposits its been near impossible to get money on PS. So a few months ago I started playing a lil FTP. had a lil success, won a few tourneys, did well in the FTOPS 2600, but nothing to gawk at. Basically with the new UB schedule out giving that now a few good tourneys worth playin (the snipers and 30re at night, and a few others), the endless tourneys going off every hour on FTP, and stars runs several tourneys with good value for the mid-high stakes player daily. I know bodog doesnt offer p2p xfers and what not but I believe bodog is quite the beatable site, I have played there the past few weeks and had some alright results. Iv got like 175k in winnings over a 1600 sampel size on stars. I have got like 70k on FTP but like i said only been playin on FTp for about a half year. Won the 150, 100 (30k), 50 (15k), and deep run in the 2600.......and a few other average scores. Sharscope is ehh I guess, stars- 2000 games at 12k prof with a 12% ROI. Basically, I am looking for someone who is maybe interested in backing/staking me in some of the mid-higher buyins. Freezeouts mainly with some lower rebuys. Possibly the 50 freezes and up, with the 20-30 rebuys with maybe the occasional 50re. I would also feel comfortable playing sngs...turbo ones, but feel I am much more comfortable playing mtts and feel if structured enough and put on a schedule of what ones I should be playing, I feel I could do quite well. Like I said I am not sure what information I should be putting down, cuz I am new to this and am just trying to get my name out there and to start talking with some people. Still needing to be staked. i dont have posts and im willing to prove my trustworthiness. i guess i have had some files stored on my hard drive so i put them into poker tracker and i found my bb/100. im not a big poker traacker guy and never really used it. I understand it pretty well now after messing around with it the past week or so.

my bb/100 is 7.47 over 100,000 hands of NL holdem. my best bb/100 are when playing hu. i have poker tracker pics if anyone is interested.

I used to play 10/25 nl hu. i am looking to play some 200 nl hu 5 or 6 tabling it on fulltilt. i can potentially do 100 nl as well.

I have never really put much thought into a staking deal, since most of my playing has been offline, and I have a full time business to attend to. Lately I have been thinking about getting an online roll started, but my money is usually better spent with the business. I mostly play live (though I used to play online enough pre uigea to realize the skill difference in limits, variance, etc. but not enough to have built up a roll). Since then I have not really played online that much, and stuck with the few weekly home games.

I used to play a ton at Resorts East Chicago when I still lived up that way. Main game was the well known soft nl1k game, with the occasional 5/10 limit game while waiting for a seat at the NL tables. Since moving from there (and away from any decent casino) I have been sticking to some really soft home games the local golf course manager got me into.

Only full ring cash games they play are 200NL that people who bust out of the sit and go start up. I have always prefered Heads Up play, and usually always get some HU action whenever I go. Highest we get going is 500nl, and I usually stick to nl200 unless I am running good.

I have a comfortable/dependable stream of income right now, and I do not need to withdraw any of the roll for a long time for living expenses, and would be open to a long term deal where the backer can setup the account, and give me a bump when I am running bad, but otherwise with this setup would have no real need for the whole roll. We could come up with a decent reserve to keep in the account, and a good starting limit. I realize lack of hand history online is going to hurt my chances of getting a decent deal, so I would have no objection to starting off at a smaller limit until the backer feels confident enough to bump it up.

I am really only interested in being staked for NLHU games (sit and gos + cash). I have never really thought about trying to build a roll etc. but I have always loved learning more about poker, and feel like I have a good grasp on game theory, and though I never built a roll I am well aware of how to properly maintain one.

I would really like it if the would be staker happened to be a HU specialist.

After reading the opening post chance for new players to get stakes doesnt look to great, but i'm just looking for a small investment which may be a big return. I am a 21 year old college in Auburn right now and unlike most people looking for a stake I am certainly not busto right now. I have had a fair share of good luck along with improving my game which has resulted in wins in the Fifty Fifty on Stars and the 3-Rebuy two night ago. While I am now essentially rolled for the bigger tournaments it is really out of my RL bankroll to play this high of stakes without a backing deal.
What I am looking for is a potential staking deal for any tournament from the $109+ FO and $22R (would want some approval and some evaluation before going any higher). So obviously the goal would be potential staking for the Sunday Majors. I have been an active 2p2 member for a couple years now with most all of my posting being done in SSMTT. what would be a "usual" staking deal if you stake someone for MTTs, but not for the whole buy-in but 1/2 or 3/4 of it?
if my horse get's in the money I get back my buy-in part + what part of the win? (i know it depends on the deal, but what would be a "classic" number)?

WSOP action wanted!

Well let me first start off by saying that I know nothing about backing/selling action. What I do know is how to play poker. I graduated with a Biomedical Engineering degree but chose to give that up to play poker. I have been playing professionally for 4 years now and have managed to do very well for myself. I am a high lhe cash game player (normally play 100/200 and 200/400, but have gone up to 1k/2k). My tournament play is somewhat limited to most tournament players. I've probably played 25-30 larger buy in tournaments. My biggest live cash was in the 2007 WSOP when I finished 5th in a mixed event.

Now to the reason why I am looking for some help. I am someone that follows strict bankroll management and believes that is the way to successfully make money. Over the years I have been pulling money out to invest and would like to keep that money where it is. I own my own place and my own business. Last year I was not staked for the WSOP and bought in to roughly 20k in events and cashed for 40k. This year I am looking to reduce variance and am seeking someone to back me or to buy some of my action. If someone is looking to back me for about 10 wsop events, then I will do that. If people are wanting to buy action, I will only sell action to events larger than $1500 buy-in.

On a side note, last year I made about 40k in side games during the month I was out for the WSOP. If you want any cash game action I will also be open to those offers. I have been a winner at 200/400 for each of the past 3 years.

All offers are welcome as I will continue to look for people to help me out.

You don't have to stake or trust me, I am asking for one and I can't give you much more than my word.
If I start making profits you will get your investment back plus any profits (depends on how good things are going).

I know I can play good poker and ofcourse there is place for improvement but I think my past showed me I ain't a donkey.

Hi I am looking for a stake to play 100nl. I currently am in college going to Eastern Mich. and I play 50nl and 25nl right now for some little income. I don't play very much because me roll is not that big. I am a 26bb/100 winner from 25nl-200nl combined over 65k hands or so. Hey i am new here but but i've been listening and playing in the pokercast freerolls for about 4 weeks. My best was 48th / 1100 and some. I've been playing about a year on stars and im trying to improve my game as i go. I have been playing online for many years. I would be interested in a staking relationship if possible. If i could play a stake or more today (25th) I'd like to try the $11 20k 3000 starting chips @ 7pm eastern. Since this is coming fairly soon for people seeing this later i could try the $11 10 minute levels @ 9:15pm eastern. I've done quite well in both of these finishing in 300th / 3000+ more then once in the 20k. In the 10 min levels i have finished 18th / 1400+. These can be verified on OPR.
