online i have played nearly 800 mtts w/ 17% itm & roi over 50%. i have also done pretty well in live small buy in tourneys. i have only played 1 large buyin tourney, the pca & finished 21st for 48k.

I'm possibly looking for some staking in some bigger tourneys on FT, particulary the FTOPS and some of the nightly bigger tourneys. Stats below include 18k+ winnings YTD in MTT, and a 70% ROI YTD. I just pulled a large amount of my BR out for a down payment on a house, so BR is too low now to be getting into the bigger buyin tourneys. Obviously I would continue to play the $12/180s and probably the $27/45s as well as they are insanely profitable. Little bit about my graph...played a lot of random stuff didnt really know what i was doing for the first 750 games. pretty much just broke even over that 750 game stretch which took about a year. game 750 (january 1st '08) joined a site to learn turbo sngs and watched a ianbarnes multitabling vid on 2+2. discovered that you can multitable on a laptop by cascading and started 10 tabling. played micro-lowlimit sngs multitabling and started to see my SS graph go up. started to 18+ table low limit sngs at the end of january. @ game 2250 had a very big downswing for 6.50 sngs then had a 1st and a
2nd in 12$ 180 mans back to back. then had another big downswing and decided it was time to work with a coach to go over my leaks. found a very good turbo mtt coach thats on a few SS leaderboards. Hes been helping me out and he will continue to help me out and look over HH's and I know that once i get out of school that my SS graph will just absolutly blow up. Im sure he will vouch for me but will ask him before i give out his name.

Looking for input on how to "arrange" a deal and if my idea is a viable one (flame if applicable).

Why: Obviously the most important question, IMO. I would like to maintain at my current stakes of PLO100, with a sufficient bankroll to make monthly withdrawals of $1,500 for expenses (minus any bonuses which will cover both ends of the monthly nut). It would be high risk IMO to do this with my current active bankroll of 5k, due to the obvious variance that occurs at the game, and would lead me to be playing on more "shot taking" in terms of my active BR instead of being completely sufficient (100bi) to play the limit and make monthly withdrawals.

i dont stake cash, but if i did i'd probably just do it over a time period rather than a certain number... if you're looking for a number you could do anything from 10000 to lots and lots depending on how much you trusted them, the volume they play etc etc

Hope this is where I need to be for a post like this. Sorry in advance for the length, I would just rather type to much than leave someone wondering. I will start with my poker career to date, hopefully it isnt TMI b/c I want everyone to realize where I am at in my poker life. I started playing cards my senior year of highschool, just with friends mostly like everyone else (although we did beat the 'moneymaker' phase by about 6 months) b/c it was something to do. Like most pros I decided to take it more serious and really realized how much money was to be made in this business.

I started playing semi-seriously my first year of college (2004-05), I was lucky enough to get on Party just before they were closing down, was able to play for about 5-6 months on there i believe (maybe longer). I had deposited 200 dollars and was dead broke, like any normal college student I was hoping to hit it big (get lucky). That I did, in a sense. I played a tournament on party and scored 3rd for over 6k. Haven't looked back sense then really. I continued to grind out on PP, until eventually they shut down.

Luckily I had cashed off most funds as it was happening, then with the big neteller deal; I got like 2k locked up in there. Luckily I had about 8k to play with, and told myself I wasn't touching any of it until I had 15k. My friend had been playing on Bodog for some time, having descent results in tournaments. So I decided to deposit there. I honestly do not remember my initial deposit, I want to say i was maxed out at 2k. I know I had to get an increase and ended up getting my entire bankroll on the site. I played under the name 'loltrickedu' for a long while. I grinded out the 2/4 with RB and made a killing off of the 5/10 HU game over there. Which is where the majority of my roll came from, that I am playing on now. This was before Bodog had a hand grabber, but if any of you want to ask some older Bodog players im sure I was decently well known (not to be mistaken for the 'loltrickedu' on Party Poker).

I remember when I decided to quit Bodog I had about 16k in my roll and decided to splurge and get a motorcycle, mostly b/c I wanted something to show for my money. Due to being on a small downswing I naturally wanted something to show for it in fear if i lost it all (was going to sell bike if this happened). I then had a small losing streak and really started to freak out about my depleting BR. Basically when I decided to quit bodog because of there 3-table hold back, I went to FTP (w/ around 10k). This has been my home for the last probably year and a half - 2 years. Where I was a respectable 2/4 nl grinder, imo (about 100k hands with a little over 3bb/100 winrate).

I recently dropped down about 2 months ago, due to the high stress level of 2/4nl and I wanted to be able to focus on school. I just wanted to be humble with grinding out 1/2 with essentially no risk, and be comfortable with my winnings. (Still trying to tell myself I had more money than most people dream of having in cash.)

This is where my story turns to ****. Naturally being a poker player I think like a poker player. I realize that when you read this next paragraph, (as if i was reading a strangers paragraph I would be thinking, yea right.). Hopefully I can veer you away from thinking like that. Two months ago right when I dropped down my hard drive burnt up, I lost all of my stats..most importantly all of my opponents stats. I had like an 80k player database, and all of my hh..nearly invaluable. I had purchased a external hard drive but somehow I didnt back my PT up correctly and is failed to save. Considering I bought my computer when i graduated HS i guess something like this was bound to happen eventually.

Yet just a minor set-back. What I have now is about the last month and a half of play at 1/2nl roughly 40k hands. Sad thing is, it was honestly the worst month of poker ive had since beginning to play. I would be glad to have someone who plays 2/4 look me up, I basically have all the hands since i have been playing 1/2.

-Now to the point.


The reason I am looking for a stake is this. I have about a 45k roll, maybe a little less. 17k of which is invested in a high interest account I had given to my mother to invest for me. I have about 2k out, just to random friends who needed money at certain times in their life. Not to sure if ill get it all back, but not a huge deal. Leaving me with about 25k ish..

Now I have been contemplating this for a little while, and saw a stake thread a couple days ago. Figured I would apply, didn't care if I got it or not. Obviously I didn't get it, have been thinking further and now I realize it is in my best interest to get one. My reasoning being this, I will be heading to the series for the entire month of June. Me my roommate and a friend got a place for the month and I want to take about 20k. I don't think I will be putting it all in play, (at least I hope not). My plan is to play 2/5nl out there maybe a lil 5/10, although I have been once and the 5/10nl game was noticeably tougher. Might mix in a little PLO, I just don't know if ill have enough time. Joke, half kidding.

The next reason is, I am taking the next year of my life and dedicating it to poker. No school, no work (like ive ever done that before anyways), just poker. It wouldn't seam as if I am in dyer need of a stake, and I guess in reality I really am not. Not saying I want this taken lightly because this is something I really want, want bad enough that I am going to be splitting profit with some random person instead of keeping it to myself. I do run Poker tracker, hud, and spade eye. My plan would be to play about 50k hands a month, maybe more at first. I would like to be properly rolled for 1/2nl, 2/4 if you want me too.

I would imagine someone would just rather roll me for 1/2 and than me move up when need be, given that I really don't even have a desire to play 2/4 as of late (reasoning for the move down), but would obviously play if properly rolled. I can show proven stats that I am a winning player, and if PM'd with seriousness I will be glad to ask around for people to pull my stats from 2/4, and 1/2 if they have them. I don't necessarily just want to throw my stats up around here, for obvious reasons.

My plan is to make 25k in the next 5 months. Shouldn't be hard with RB, and profit, me essentially getting about 12.5k of that of course. Unless someone would want to work out a different deal (which I would be up for discussing). When that goal is met, the stake can be continued or dropped. I would want to keep the stake going until I had around 20k online. This would be ideal for me, because I would have plenty off line already, and there would be no need to cash out. Would also work out great b/c I plan on playing a lot more live plo (sick game in my home town).


I would much rather discuss with the person first. Will post publicly if need be, but would much rather keep who is being staked private (due to the fact if people reading realize im playing with staked money could effect level of thinking) more than likely over thinking that theory but still. I would really appreciate if someone would want to get involved with something like this, I would love to get started asap. I really want to be able to play online while in Vegas also, I feel like it will be a time when I can really focus on just my game without outside distractions. First post here i can be vouched for on seperate forums, im a bit ashamed to be posting here but that's what happens when you take too many shots.

Long story short i've been playing PLO full time now for two years and poker since 10 years.

I've no other excuse to provide other than i took some shots at €10/20 and hit a nasty spot of variance i was actually relatively happy with how i play however the poker gods slammed me down for bankroll mis-management.

Im looking for a stake for 50.1/1/2 PLO to get me motoring again. I would be also interested in receiving some coaching while being staked to monitor my game.

I think i could benefit from an arrangement with strict rules and guidelines and I think i could be very profitable for a staker.

I only have a small sample of hands in PTO however I can provide stats (I also have an old database with a much larger sample of hands which im having difficulty importing, i can provide stats from both with a little assistance).

ok this is also true so sorry, but the point im making i dont have a lot of posts and i dont care to post in strategy forums, but if anyone of u want to im me and test my knowledge on any game because im pretty good at all of them then go ahead..it sucks i have no references thats true but im a very smart guy especially in pl omaha hi/lo and stud hi/lo, i mean i dont want to be repetitive but yes there are scammers ive been scammed twice trying to get epassporte money. If a backer will give me a chance to get to know them that would be great then maybe consider backing me after u get to know me. im a profitable player lifetime in sit and gos and mtt's
