Looking to stake someone for a lot of MTTs today. I'll be looking for 2-3 things:

1.You have stats, good ones. Please provide me with links/stuff in PM.
2.You have posts on 2p2, some/most being strat posts. I'm not impressed though by 2,000 posts and only 150 strat posts..
3.Experience being staked. Good if you've been staked in this thread, better if you have evidence of being staked on a website so you know how traditional staking things work.

I'll be staking on a 55/45+sb stakers cut. So if I stake you 5$ and you win 10$ total, the amount you ship back is $7.75

(10-5)/100=.05
.05x55=2.75
2.75+5(sb)=7.75.

I am a 19 year old student from England currently in my second year doing a maths degree at university. Been playing online poker for over a year now, started off with a BR of 10$ and been grinding my way up.

Had a very expensive summer, i used to play alot of NL50 heads up, it has been able to pay for 2 holidays this summer and enough to keep me going at university, but makes it very hard to build a bankroll.

Just got a new monitor 24" through Pokerstars FPP so decided its time to start playing 6max and try to move up through the levels.

Heres all my graph and stats over the last 2 weeks since i moved to 6max, lost all my old HHs when computer was formatted.





Seems to be going pretty well so far, this is using PT3 for a HUD and all 9 tabling 6max, except for the few HU grudge matches tilted people challenge me to.

I would love to be steaked into 1/2 6max or full ring by a mid-high stakes player who can easily beat 1/2 themselves. So as well as steaking me they could help me improve my game. From what i have seen in these threads steakings seem to be around 50/50, we would obviously talk more about this together.

I would prefer to be steaked on pokerstars, although i do have a rakeback account on FTP. I doubt i will make supernova this year i think i will be around 20k VPP off, but i should get it next year within 5-6 months if i carry on to play nl 50.

I used to play alot of online games till i got to university and they were just taking up too much time, games like WoW, D2, Ultima online, on which i would say i had been very successful at all. Stuff like rank1 in 5v5 on WoW, playing with internet celebrity Athene if you have heard of him ^.^

Now i have stopped all these games i have been taking poker much more seriously, i have alot of free time between lectures every day, some days i have completely off. I go out most evenings but during the day over the last 2 weeks i have been able to get 3k+ sessions in very easily.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a regular staker to allow me to play midstakes to highstakes MTTs. I've been playing online poker since 2005, and have slowly made the trek from a losing player to a break-even player to a winning player. In 2005, I lost a little bit. In 2006, I broke even. In 2007 I made a couple thousand, and in 2008 I am up over $10k. I'm looking to make the jump into significant money, and would like to help my staker profit along the way.

Due to expenses (I'm a college student paying his own way) I've had to make frequent withdrawals, and due to a lack of time in the last couple months I haven't had a lot of recent success, but the first half of 2008 was very good for me. Right now I have about $2k online at Cake and FTP where I'm playing cash games and tournaments (respectively).

My goal out of a stake would be to play higher tournaments than I'm bankrolled for currently, and to grind out some success. Back in June (one of the last major shots I have taken) I placed 5th in the Nightly 100k for over $5k. I believe that I am +EV in almost every MTT I can play with the possible exception of some of the high stakes events that are filled with professionals. I intend to play in multiple WSOP 2009 events, and I'd like some help enabling me to achieve that goal.

As far as trust goes, my word and good name are worth far more to me than money. I have several people from these forums and other forums (poker-strategy.org, for one) that would vouch for me.

I want to preface these statistics by saying that I don't believe this fully represents my skill. I have taken lots of shots in higher tournaments (thus affecting my profit) where I have not had as much success (lol variance). Much of my profit from the year also is derived from mixed cash games.

The reason that I need a stake is because I basically haven't played at all since the end of Sept and have been going out a lot. In the end of October, I had about $1k in my br and had to cahs it out for rent and bills. I have since got a job, but its not paying me enough to build a roll from and I miss the challenge. My name is Clark aka ClarkAS on FTP. I am a 21 year old student that hasn't really had much time or bankroll to play lately. Over the last two years (until this fall) I was playing poker to supplement living expenses (random needs, partying, traveling etc). I used to primarily razz cash games, 2-4 and 3-6 and would take 5/10 and 8/16 heads up shots when the opponent was weak enough. Before razz I was an MTT wannabe. Winning a few MTT's for around 1,000ish. The 10$ 1,500 guarantee, random 10$ MTT's, won the stud $24+2 mtt two times in 3 nights (two times in a row), have won 10$ razz mtts including final tables of the $24+2 2k guarantee. I have great MTT strategy, I know when to speed things up and when to slow down, I know when its right to call for pot odds and when it's right to throw away better then average hands if its a bad price. I have good early MTT strategy (TAG, primarily play strong hands or random position hands) and late MTT strategy (re shoves, stealing is more important, position raises, position shoves etc). I am basically looking for some sort of stake on FTP to play mtts anywhere from $5-$50 and bigger buy in tournies through satellites. I am a very trustworthy person, can have some 2+2'ers vouch for me if needed just ask, and if indeed I was staked I would work hard for both of our pockets.

Looking for a one-time stake in todays FTOPS ME ($500+35), open to pretty much any deal (75-25 area for the backer) or something w/ makeup. I've been primarily a cash game player but have dabbled in some tournaments, although it's a very small sample size I know im +EV in this tournament which is inundated with tons of STT qualifiers. I'm just not willing to risk this much on a single tournament since I'm currently playing 1/2 NL and I really don't want to risk $535 on one tourney, but still know I have a good edge in this field.
