Here is my story.

I'm a full time student in college with no job and I started playing poker 4 years ago just for fun in house games. I eventually found internet poker and began playing on poker.com. I would play the free rolls because I had no money online and eventually cashed in a few and built the money up taking shots etc. I had about 1K on poker.com and moved 500 onto Full Tilt and began playing there. I played cash games, sngs, and tourneys and was doing pretty well. I ended up with a pretty nice bankroll and began to move up quickly before you knew it I had a 30K roll playing the Sundays and grinding sng's while cash games took a back seat. I would always watch cardrunners and pokerxfactor videos which improved my game ALOT. I have some live expierince in casinos and card rooms playing anywhere from 1/2 to 10-20nl. I came very close to some huge scores including: 15th in the sunday mill (went out 99-77 all in pre hurt so much i almost cried lol) won 2 $30 dollar tounrys and a $50 on bodog, 5th in the Sunday mulligan, 2nd in a $200 turbo tounry, 5th in the 1K monday, and some other pretty decent scores (by the way a bunch of my old scores were on a different name)


Then is when the downfall came. I took out money for personal use, lent some out, and just started steaming in life. I definitely learned my lesson the hard way when I went busto. Now I am rebuilding my roll from scratch.

I have always loved cash games and have come to the realization that Cash games are the only pure form of poker. I don't think I will ever play tounrys again unless they are a big sunday or a live tounry. I always have played cash games online and live from 5-10C all the way to 25-50NL(DUMB DECISIONS) I am looking to be backed in 2/4nl+ I am currently grinding a roll together playing 50NL and I play 8 tables at a time. I use pokertrakcer and pokeracehud.

Hello Everyone,(this is definitely tl;dr but give it a shot and I don't think you will be disappointed.)

My name is Kenneth and I am 18 years old (turn 19 in may) and I would like to be staked for nl cash games of any limit. I started playing poker seriously in the spring of 2006. A friend and I had always been crushing the games around my neighborhood (they were just 5 dollar buy-ins with a bunch of school friends lol) and we finally decided to check out what online poker was all about. We both started playing freerolls on Poker.com and within the first 2 or 3 freerolls we had cashed for about 10 dollars each. Well soon my 10 dollars grew to about 300 dollars and my friends 10 dollars grew to about 6 or 700. We heard about Full Tilt Poker and transferred money from Poker.com to FTP as soon as possible. Now at this point in my career I was exponentially worse than I am today so I went on to lose my small bankroll. Soon there after my friend and I started going to an illegal poker house that ran 1-2nl 30 minutes away from our neighborhood. I probably pulled about 1.2k out of the game by the end of summer. We probably went 5 times in all because it was the end of summer and we had our senior year of high school left so we stopped going during the school year. I ended up spending all of that money on a girlfriend and other miscellaneous objects.

During November of 2006 I had another bankroll of about 1.2k and I ended up losing it all on a stupid transfer mistake. I was trying to transfer my bankroll from FTP to Pokerstars and ended up getting scammed for it all. So I was bust for a while until the beginning of summer in 2007 when I had a score in a tournament for about 2.2k. At that point I tried grinding tournaments online but at the same time my friend of last year and I started going back to this poker house. I probably won around another 1k from that place as well. Him and I started going to a casino in Oklahoma near by and I made probably around another 1k from the 1-2 game there as well. At the beginning of October I started losing a lot of my real life bankroll over my girlfriend and more stupid items and a couple losing sessions. I panicked and withdrew my whole poker bankroll of 3k and spent it all on everything including a nice tv, clothes, xbox 360, a new phone, and lots of other small items. Coming into the year of 2008 I was completely bust except for 400 dollars so I decided to redeposit online. Within a week I quickly ran this money up to 2.2k by beating 1-2nl and .50-1plo. Although with this roll I tilted a night shortly after my rush and lost it all.

So that is my history as a poker player, sorry about how unorganized and sketchy it probably sounds but I don’t have any actual proof of it all happening. Hopefully you can take my word for it as I guess my only proof would be all of the things I purchased from my bankrolls.

As of right now I have been busto for about 2 months with no real way to get my money back into the game as I have been dealing with some bills and trying to save money for an apartment and college next semester .

The reason I feel like I would be a worthy stake is because I feel like I am a very profitable player in the game. I have made a lot from live 1-2, which I know is much much softer than online 1-2, but I have also pulled a fair amount from online. I do have pokertracker and pokeracehud but before I turned 18 last May I had a different screename so all of my stats are on that name and they got erased when I had to reformat my computer. I have some from my new screename but its such a little sample size that I don’t think it would sway your decision as I believe skill and knowledge of the game should be the deciding factor over screenshots of results anyways(although I did profit in these small sample sizes =D). I feel like I know a good amount of putting players on ranges and adjusting my range accordingly. I am a very trustworthy person and I always want to learn more about this game. I think about it 24/7 and I always lurk the strategy forums on 2+2. If there is any way that you want me to prove my knowledge of the game I would certainly be willing to do so. I currently do not have a job and I am not attending any classes this semester so I can put in any amount of time you would want me to put in. I talk to some friends that play poker including a relatively known great tourney player asellers07. My friend that I used to play poker with also still plays poker and is grinding a small roll at the time and we discuss hands frequently. He has made a post in the staking thread as well if you want to check him out (his screename on 2+2 is Farfromfear).

Of course staking is a business and not only do I think this staking arrangement would be helping me out tremendously but I guarantee you over a large sample size that you will be profiting from this as well. Please take me into serious consideration because I promise I will work harder than anyone else you can find. If there is any questions about anything feel free to PM me back. My username is As2s3s4s5s and I play on FTP, specializing in HORSE and Stud 8. I have a 115% ROI overall with a 136% ROI in Stud 8 and HORSE tournaments and 7 final tables. You may have to ask yourself why as winning player would need to get staked. I am a senior in college and tuition & board costs over 40k / year so I have no room for dedicating significant funds to poker even though I'm a winning player. The stake I'm interested in getting is for a series of $26 Stud 8 tournaments on FTP, which is my specialty. I prefer to play higher but its the biggest buy in that they offer for Stud 8. If anyone is interested, we can work out the number of tournaments anywhere from 1-10 and the percentage chop (I usually only do 50/50 because my results are very good. PM me if interested.

PS I also play some mid level HORSE cash games in the 8/16 - 30/60 range. I already have some backers for that but more are always welcome even though I'm sure this is certainly not the venue for getting larger stakes such as that so I'm just throwing it out there with extremely little expectation on the cash side. I will take stakes for that as well, but the focus of this post is Stud 8 tournaments.

REMINDER: Staking someone with few posts on twoplustwo who you do not know from the strategy forums is a massive risk and is probably a hugely -$ev investment. Staking someone with a lot of posts who you do know from the strategy forums is simply a very large risk

The moderators of this forum are not in the business of censoring posters who would be horrifically bad investments.

Make sure that you do a thorough background check on anyone who you choose to stake including getting references of their character as well as obtaining evidence of their play by sweating them and/or reading their hand histories.

Make sure that you also research their pokersite usernames and their twoplustwo name and make sure that they have not been involved in any scams in the past
