Hey,

Looking for some MTT backing.

For the past ~7 months I've ground a stake for 2+2er Rupert. We both left the stake happy, it was just unfortunate that due to school, etc he just couldn't manage the stake anymore.

I'm capable of putting in a good volume, and have plenty of experience getting deep, and closing. For Rupert I was playing FO's up to $216, and up to $20 rebuys. I also played several $300+40's at Turningstone for him, finishing 6th in the $325+40 Bounty Tourney in August.

I do try and post as much as I can on 2+2, but I'm also a mod at another forum, LOLNiceSqueeze, and some posters we share with 2+2 that can vouch for my integrity/play are: BarryLyndon, Rocco, RonFezBuddy, Killingbird, among others.

My OPR for Tilt:

http://www.officialpokerrankings.com...5B559.html?t=2

and for Stars:

http://www.officialpokerrankings.com...1F3E2.html?t=2

I also play on UB (currently as T8110, but only after they made me change my name, pubic heir, because the latter was "inappropriate" for their cheating-@ss site), where I won the 20K Deepstacked and have gone deep in the 200K several times.

I'm open to all sorts of deals. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks,

Hagbard

All,

Having won the warmup, I decided that I would play mtts on my own and see how it went for a little while. However, the variance just is a lot to deal with on a weekly basis given how much I play. I took a step back and realized that all the top players are staked, guys who have way more money than I do. There is some merit in playing on my own roll, but much more merit in playing backed.

Below is my application for backing. I would like to play freezeouts up to $1k, and rebuys up to $50. Currently I only play on Stars, but would play on FTP if it is so desired.

I have been staked by Hevad Khan, Eric Liu, and more recently dtan05 on 2+2 and a cash game player named feiticeira from liquidpoker.net

Brutal honesty: The Liu stake ended because I was playing horrific poker at the beginning of 2008 and he pretty much thought I was a losing investment and ate the 20k makeup. I was in a dumb place mentally at the end of 2007/beginning of 2008.

The Khan stake ended because I had a lapse in judgment and made a terrible error that almost ruined my poker reputation. With Khan, the initial stake was 10k... I was down a little bit, then I shipped a 55 and a 109 fo on the same night for like 30k combined. we split profits, and left 10k in the account for continued grinding. Once I got down to like 2500-3k, I was on pretty much lifetilt for alot of reasons, not only poker. I decided hey, I'll play some high stakes sngs. Obviously not a good move, Khan saw me playing and ended the stake. I did however get staked by Eric after this, as well as the 2+2 and the LP guy. I learned a valuable lesson about reputation, trust, and honor.. and the fact that one dumb move can basically ruin your good name.

Anyway, I've since moved past that. I shipped the Warmup for 80k in June on my own money, and have since been grinding on my own. I just moved into an apartment with my friend BJLTNYK who is a SSNL grinder, and life couldn't be better. I've got a part time job, have a great girlfriend, and am playing really good poker at the moment. I'm still putting in really nice volume (between 15-20 mtts a night on weekdays, and daylong Sunday sessions from the Warmup til the 23:00 mtts) and I feel like I'm playing better than ever.

I have a few decent scores recently, nothing huge because I'm not really playing that huge. I've been dabbling in the 100r but I don't have nearly the roll to play that effectively every night.

Having just moved into a new apartment and not having TOO much liquid cash banked/saved, I'd really like to begin playing on a stake again. If I'm selected for the stake, I'll obv give you all my IRL info, incl passwords to sites etc.

As far as references, I don't really post much in HSMTT since I don't play that high consistently. I mean, I play the 162 every night, and a few 100rs, and all the Sunday Majors on Stars, but I don't feel like I'm at the mental level of a lot of people in that forum.

Moderator thac can vouch for my trustworthiness and the fact that I work my ass off.

If you'd like anything else answered, let me know.

Hope to hear from you soon.

PMs please.

I am looking to be staked for 400NL in ~3 weeks time, by a MSNL/HSNL HU (decent winner at 600NL+) player who would be willing to do some coaching sessions with me.

I will provide stats/graphs upon request, and would appreciate if you would send yours as well.

I would be open to a variety of terms.

I am primarily a ring game player but I played some MTTs mostly in 2007, and some S&Gs (I got 1st place on the Mercury high orbit leaderboard 5 out of the 7 times I tried).

Relevant to the HORSE, I have gotten 1st place in both Razz and Stud H/L MTTs and 2nd in Stud H/L and O8 MTTs. I also have 2 final tables in micro HORSE events with 400+ player fields.

I feel Stud H/L is my strongest game as I played it for 5+ years in the Indian reservations before Hold'em was popular.

My Sharkscope is below.

Since noone replied yet and the tourney is tomorrow, I decided I will sell 10% shares up to 50% of my action.

I looked and see most of the good players are selling shares for 1.2-1.4x premiums. I would be willing to sell 10% shares at a lower rate of 1.16x, ie. $25 for a 10% share in the HORSE tourney (since I am going to buyin direct anyway if I don't get a stake).

The Stud H/L is every week, so I would still like a stake for that one.

RE: hagbard celine

He's a very good horse that puts in decent volume. He had 3 stakes under me with incrementing %s for him.

First stake: +$5666.91 over 107, 50.19% ROI
Second stake: +$11678.63 over 775 11.89% ROI
Third stake: -$2898.09 over 106 -36% ROI

Unfortunately Vegas was brutal and starting a new year at school is expensive so i've had to stop staking him. He is trustworthy and I have backed him in a few Turning Stone tournaments one of which he final tabled having never met the guy IRL.

wanna get staked for some low stakes (6 and 12 dollar) 45 and 180 player sngs. pretty extensive experience on them from when i played pokerroom, just getting back into them seriously now.

edit: experience on pokerroom from sngs in general, not sure pokerroom even had multi table ones.

So I am posting all the graphs and stats I have which comes to a sum total of **** all, but here it is. I'm hoping to pick up a steak for NL25-NL200(6max).

This will be last post on advertising me selling shares in the $530 PLH WCOOP that starts in some 10-11 hours. There are still 26 $18 shares out of 30 available. Buying every share from the start would be the equivalent of staking a strong tournament player and thinker for a 90/10 division of profits, plus a $10 fee. So somewhere in the neighbourhood of staking me for 88/12 I guess.

I am selling shares for $18 each, but if anyone would like to purchase a large chunk of shares, that is obviously OK.

I feel like I have a good trust on the forum, especially in the STTF community, and would be happy to answer further inquiries in pms or so.

Looking to sell any of my action in the Cake WPT 12k Final (Tomorrow)

I won into this through a satellite and seeing as how it's way above my MTT BR ($215) I'll be selling shares at 0.9:1 so that I can try and get more off of my hands.

Willing to sell all of my action (your $193 buys you all $215).

I'm pretty trustworthy, as I've been here for about 10 months and have made numerous inter-site transfers and have met a few 2p2ers in real life.

PM me for more details.

I'm now looking for a stake for 200NL HU/6-Max/MTTs. I'd like to play at least $55 MTTs+. aaaaaaaa (Over 1M+ MTT Profit) coached me and I still talk to him every day about hands etc. He also sweats me all the time for free and we work on my game. I have tons of people to vouche for my play/trust if need be. Please let me know if you're interested.

Thanks,

Bump to update.

I unregistered in this tournament and am going to play in the same event (Cake's WPT 12K Final) next weekend (Sunday), since I didn't get enough responses in time.

I plan on selling my shares at 0.7:1.

That means $7 gets you $10 of me or $150 gets you the full $215. This is a good reason to spend a little bit of money simply for the sweat.

I play 25NL online and 100NL live and am a winner at both. I understand push/fold and basic cEV, so I feel like I'd have a pretty good chance in here (especially since it's on Cake) Also, fwiw I'll be 1-tabling this.

PM me for more details and thanks.

Hello All,

I am a college student at the University of Delaware and due to recent financial costs I was forced to cash out the 900 or so in my roll. Prior to this cash out I was a proven winner at Cash/MTT's/and Sit N Go's(graphs at bottom). However I will only be looking to get staked for cash games due to the fact I am in college and dont have the time to put in decent amount of SNG's and MTT's. I will be looking for cash stakes preferably 50nl HU but will start lower to build up trust, seeing as this is my first stake. I am also capable of playing uNL PLO if you are looking for that, however I dont have PT Omaha so my only Omaha stats come via OPR. You can contact me either through AIM at Made In Delaware or via PM. I have many strategy posts in the SSMTT, HUNL, and MSNL strategy forums(also some posts in MTTc).

I guess it was lucky I did not get a stake and only sold 10% of my action in this tournament (16th place for $3137). Looking to be staked/coached in low limit PLO cash games (mostly HU and some 6 max). I have been a sng player but looking to get into the PLO ring games. I’ve been playing the .25/.50 HU PLO tables on stars lately and have beat them for an ok profit over a few thousand hands (rake sucks). Looking for someone who plays HU/6 max to help me out and kind of guide me so I don’t make spewy moves.

Staking History on 2+2...

I have been staked on 2+2 two times both coming out in the black. Most recent being $2k going to my $12 180 man backer. The only reason that ended was because I was having trouble grinding a certain amount of sngs with classes so I ended it.

I am a winning player in the games i have played. I feel I have a decent understanding in the game and I learn very quickly. Qpac09 on stars.

PM me or hit me up on AIM.

Hey all,

Looking for a stake for low-limit SNGs and/or low-limit MTTs + coaching. My name on Stars/FT is ajohnson16, though I should say I think the Sharkscopes for both names are misleading.

Haven't had a lot of staking experience but am willing to comply with a wide range of terms.

If you'd like to discuss this more in depth, shoot me a PM or AIM me at alexjohnson16.

Thanks,
Alex

Last bump for WCOOP Main Event sale, as I'm still looking to sell some action. I'm now registered via a ticket and must play. $57 buys 1%, and I'll sell 10% package for $550.

Hey there,

I'm looking for a 200NL FR stake on FT. 50/50 + stakeback. Looking for 15-30BIs.

I'm one of the winniest 100NL regs there, and I've been thinking of moving up to 200NL for a bit now, but I had to cash out more than half my roll so I can buy a car. I currently have a $6,000 roll on FT.

I've been playing 100NL for about 3 months now, and been winning and learning consistanly ever since. I've improved my game alot, and I've just been killing 100NL for the past 2 weeks. I dont have a great sample size on PT, as I olny got it bout 2-3 weeks ago. I have a larger sample size (180k hands) on tableratings.com, and I'm pretty sure I'm in the top 2 for most profit amongst the active 100NLers.

Link: http://www.tableratings.com/overview/robertoluongo01

As for my PT graph, its pretty solid as you can see with a good winrate. I play a lag style, and I'm pretty sure I'm the olny good winning lag reg at 100NL, and I feel like I will continue to dominate at 200NL.

I'm open to coaching and stuff, and I do have a 6 month acc on DeucesCracked, so I'll be sure to watch some vids on 200NL before I actually begin playing.

I'll prob start by playing 4 tables to get a feel for it, and then move on to 8 or 9 tables.

I can put in about 28-40 hours a week.

I will strictly use the stake money to play 200NL, or anything else we agree on.

I use PT3 and I can give you weekly or daily updates.

As for any references I have, I'm still pretty new to the poker community and 2p2, and I've never been staked before, so sadly I have none. However, I am very honest and trustworthy. I dont have many references, but heres some I have:

tcmNOWAY on 2+2 - He doesn't post much here, but hes a mod over at another poker forum, rakereport.net. I've recently staked him $750 for 50NL.

clamper13 - hes a very known mod and middleman for the fulltilt forums. I used him as a middleman to sell 105k points, and the transaction went very smoothly.

Feel free to pm me about any further questions, I have msn with webcam so if you wanna get to know me a bit.

Anyways heres all my PT graphs and charts:

My graph:

My graph again:

My charts:

My position stats:

And finally my sessions by time:
- note 74% of my sessions are winning

And again heres the link to my tableratings.com stats:

As you can see, I'm a prove winner so stake me and I'll make both of us lots of money!

Hey, after moving into my new apartment, i decided i would like to add some extra income, starting from the 1st of october, I'm looking to take on a few stakees, who i can offer some personal coaching, coaching/staking will be purely for 9/10 mans. The deal would most likely be 50/50 or 60/40 in your favour, depending on your results/motivation etc. Coaching will involve chatting on msn/skype on a day to day basis, if you need it, id be available most days to discuss any hands you want reviewing etc. Also id do a 1 hour or so with either me sweating you on teamviewer+skype, or you sweating me if i felt that would be better way to coach you and point out certain things, that would probably be about once every 1k games or something. I'd like to add that im not an ICM genuis, but i am pretty good, i think i can help teach more than just ICM, which i feel just comes with playing, i think i can help with other parts of your game such as pyscholigcal problems etc.

Ok so, i'll post my 9/10 max results so you know what your getting etc, i am not at the top of my game yet, but i hope to be soon, as i am putting all my time and effort into 10 max games now instead of trying to switch to 6max or Cash games. Probably not huge samples, but good enough for just a basic idea, i myself will be putting in 2.5k+ sng months in from october also of 10 max only, grinding in your own place is just +EV.

I'd like the staking to be done at ipoker, which means US players cant play there which sucks. If there are any serious low limit players who are playing at stars/FTP who are interested in this, who have rakeback on FTP i would think about it. Basically just have a pretty sick deal at ipoker so its just more +EV for both.

Stakes played would depend on what limit your currently playing. Id like most to start of playing between 10-30$. After a decent sample, i am all up for moving you up to the 50s also if i feel you can beat them, which hopefully with some coaching etc shouldnt be a prob after some decent volume, so its more of a longterm stake.

Im looking to take on between 3-5 players by the end of september, and the stake will start first week of october. If your interested post here with info about yourself, your goals, how long you've played, what stakes you've played, and your results.

Feel free to ask me any questions also im more than willing to answer.

I doubt I'm a very strong candidate to be included for this but I'll have a go. I've been playing for maybe a year and a half, but since making my first decent sized deposit of $500 around easter this year, I've only been a breakeven player (playing 25nl and 50nl 6max and 50nl HU). Most of my problems come from psychological barriers, tilt, losing motivation etc - I consider my understanding of theory and technical ability to be pretty solid. For example, I can look over hands posted in uNL and assign a good range, work out a good line to take and have a strong analytical mind, but when I'm actually playing I often just have a brain fart and spew money everywhere. A few times I've run my $500 up to 1000-1500, then run bad for a while and gone on tilt/become demotivated and end up back where I started. I've recently been thinking about switching to Sngs because I think it'd be a little steadier and I'd tilt less, so this might fit quite nicely.

I've considered getting a coach/backer before, because I hate letting people down and would be more motivated because I'd feel ashamed if I lost someone else's money, but I didn't think my results were good enough. I have a lot of free time, being between jobs and not going back to university till next year, and I'm willing to put in a lot of work.

English so ipoker isn't a problem.

Graph of results since August - just to give you an idea of what I was talking about. yuck.

thanks for considerations

Thank you! I got lucky by being that 10%.
Just wanted to shout out and vouch for you say what a great pleasure it was to have a piece of this. My baby has been sick this week so I've not been able to play much. It was pretty damn awesome to wake up in morning to find an email from PS with a transfer of $313.
