I'm looking for a stake in the WSOP Main Event and possibly beyond.

I am primarily a cash game player, playing ~300k hands online 6-max from 200nl-2000nl, but have had success in the MTT's I have played (both live and online), including a recent win in the $1060 Venetian Deepstack tourney a few weeks ago.

I am looking for a stake for a couple of reasons. I do not want to incur the variance of a huge field 10k buy-in. I also am interested in traveling a lot during the next year, beginning with the APT and APPT Macau, the Aussie Millions, 1 or 2 EPT events, and who knows what else. I understand the variance that playing the big tourneys can have, hence the possibility of a long-term agreement.

I'm looking to sell in one big chunk and get my stake in cash and in person at Vegas. I already have people interested in 5-10% pieces and paying via netsites. But I would prefer more getting a stake face-to-face, as this way I have to bring less cash to Vegas and not having to suffer so much from exchange rates from euros to dollars.

I'm a 21-yr old 5max/6max NLHE grinder, playing mainly from NL400 to NL1k running about +4,46ptBB/100. Although short-handed NLHE is my best game, I consider NLHE tournaments as my second strongest game. All in all - tournaments was the way I built my bankroll from $25 three years ago before turning into cash games in April 2007, since it turned out to be much much more lucrative business. :-)

In the past year I've been getting back into tournaments and I try to play atleast 2-4 Sunday majors on various sites every week. This month I've final tabled one donkament, finishing in 5th place.

I’m leaning towards doing 2000 game stakes at the moment, but am open to other ideas. It should probably take you 2 months to complete 2000 games. You’ll receive 40% of the first $2000 profits, 50% of everything over that. All results will be determined by sharkscope. You must play a minimum of 500 games per month. If you are lazy or can’t play this much, you better have a really good reason as to why.

You will also be able to ask me questions occasionally about how to play hands, and I have very good results in these games. Follow my plans and we will both make a lot of money.

I've been playing uNL for about 3-4 years and am currently looking for a stake at 100nl. I guess I'll tell you a little about myself.
I went to school at Suffolk University in Boston and graduated with my BSBA in August of 2007. During that time I grinded 25nl and 50nl to pay for all of my spending money and living expenses, cashing out bi weekly.

When I graduated I moved out to Texas for a few months and stopped playing for the most part, however I moved back home in October and deposited 400ish onto Cake and was able to make 6-7k at various limits up to 200nl through mid/late November. Because I was not working I continously cashed out down to 2k to stay rolled for 100nl. This continued until the end of January when I hit my second big downswing on Cake and because I wasn't leaving enough in my account (20 bi's not enough imo) I was forced to move down, which is where I have been since.

I am still looking for my first entry level job, so basically I still use Poker as a way to pay for most of my living expenses (not much), however as a result my downswings take a toll on me mentally. I always grind through them, and am always able to think long term and never tilt, however that doesn't change the affect it can have on my normal life.

So basically that is the reason I am looking for a stake. Ideally I would like to be staked for 100nl on Stars, with some kind of weekly cashout arrangement set up between me and whoever chooses to stake me.

I am very trustworthy and have traded in the zoo thread 50+ times, many times with my partner sending first in amounts up to 1.2k.

Overall I would say I am a solid winner up through 100nl. I haven't had much success at 200nl although my sample size is less then 15k hands or so. Unfortunatly I dont have any of my earlier hands when I was beating the games on Cake for 5ptbb+ at 100nl (purchased a new laptop with winnings in late Nov. and my old hand histories were lost at some point in the last 5 months from my old laptop I gave to a friend), although I could provide cashout histories from that time as evidence.

The stats I have are from the beginning of December and include all the hands I have played on this computer.




I believe my true winrate at 50nl is closer to 3.5ptbb and I have run unusually bad at this level for some reason.

Additionally I would say my two biggest strengths are that I never tilt/play outside of my bankroll and am always eager to learn more about the game. I would say lately my focus has been coming out of my natural weak/tightish tendencies that were great for beating the game in the past and adapting to the new style of play that is most profitable at uN/SSNL.

After I thought about it a little more, I have decided I would be interested in a longer term stake for 5-25K BI live tourneys in addition to just the main event (If you are looking to only stake me for the ME, by all means please still send me a PM). I just graduated from college, so I have an open schedule for a minimum of a year. I think it would be pretty fun to play in a bunch of big buy-in tourneys across the country/world without having to stress about the variance, so it's something I am for sure willing to discuss.

If you are slightly skeptical of my 10-40BB tourney play (or my play in general), I would be completely fine with sitting down with you guys for however long to illustrate my competence in those situations or any others.

Also, a lot of the PMs have asked me why not just buy-in yourself, which is a very fair question. For me it's more of a mental relief than a financial one. The thought of going halfway across the world and not cashing in an event and having to think about my failure for the rest of the trip makes me very sad in a way that a -$25K day in online cash does not (even though I obviously realize the varience in tourneys is sick high).

In terms of references, I have done a bunch of coaching for PBJaxx for 10-20 and 25-50NL and have done some less formal stuff with my buddy Snowbank, both of whom would be good to talk to about both my play and my credibility/character. I also did a session w/ Jfish pretty recently, although my coaching experience is fairly limited due to a lack of interest in the past. You can probably find out a bunch of information about me by asking the upper MSNL and HSNL guys on Stars about Alcohol4Life as I have either played or been denied action by almost all of them.

I need a stake because I had to liquidate my bankroll to pay various bills. I have played as high as 2/4, which was at the end of 2006 until shortly after the Neteller pullout in mid-January of '07. Poker has been my primary source of income over the past 2 years. Unfortunately, monthly cashouts prevented my bankroll from regrowing.

As stated, I would prefer a stake with a coaching arrangement as well. One of the biggest holes in my game over the past year has involved a lack of proper and constructive dialogue and critiques about my game and poker in general. I believe a solid coach could really open up my game.

I would be completely trustworthy in any staking arrangement. I am a firm believer in the old axiom that a gambler's word is his most valuable possession. I also handled the LOL Donkaments Shirts Charity Drive successfully and without complaint. I'm sure many would vouch for me.

In regards to the terms and length of the deal, I am flexible and am open to negotiating a fair deal. I am willing to play on any site the backer feels comfortable with.

Looking for a stake for the WSOP ME. Currently I shortstack 1/2-2/4nl and play fullstacked at .5/1nl and 1/2nl. I was previously a winning SNG player as high as the 55s on Party before I nitted it up and settled into the 16s and the 12s post Party. I think that this mix of skills gives me a huge edge in MTTs as I will be able to adapt to stacksizes better than most.
