Hi folks,

Im interested in some WSOP staking... I had planned on coming out for the 5k 6max event and just playing some of the last events myself, but having found this forum if anyone would be interested in taking action over the course of the WSOP (or in the higher buyin events only) then I would like to hear from you.

As you may know Im a CardRunners pro, I mainly do sng and mixed games vids for them but im an all rounder and do pretty well at mid-hi stakes NL cash and toureys too. In terms of MTTs I play a very limited online schedule (especially in the last year) but have still chopped the Sunday Million, won a $100r for 50k and won almost every mixed game tourney amongst other results. Most recently I made the last 8 in the FTOPS $500 HU before getting coolered and then sucked out on for a bit under 10k. Ive been having a spell of making the last couple tables and getting unlucky a lot recently but i assume my long term ROI online is still 50-100%. Live I have some decent results from when i used to travel the Euro circuit more and one tv final in a UK made for TV event. I think id be massively +EV in most of the NLH/Mixed games events but just dont really fancy risking 50-100k with all the variance inherent in tourneys. However the idea of a whole summer in vegas sounds pretty fun too and i think it would make a sound investment for any of the bigger backers/syndicates, so if you want to arrange something then holla.

cheers
Phil

I am a 21 year old college in Auburn right now and unlike most people looking for a stake I am certainly not busto right now. I have had a fair share of good luck along with improving my game which has resulted in wins in the Fifty Fifty on Stars and the 3-Rebuy two night ago. While I am now essentially rolled for the bigger tournaments it is really out of my RL bankroll to play this high of stakes without a backing deal.
What I am looking for is a potential staking deal for any tournament from the $109+ FO and $22R (would want some approval and some evaluation before going any higher). So obviously the goal would be potential staking for the Sunday Majors. I have been an active 2p2 member for a couple years now with most all of my posting being done in SSMTT. If you have any questions of inquiries please let me know and I am sure I can find plenty of people to vouch for me as being legit as I have hosted several Challenges in the MTT Community.

My OPR

Please Let me know if you are interest in backing me or know of another potential backers.

Quick note while I am looking mainly for a long term deal I would be interested in possibly doing one of the sunday majors tomorrow as I am considering playing anyways.

p.s if anyone wants to buy shares over a predetermined no of events for at least 5k a go that might also be worth discussing further...

Ok this was a long read, I sent a few PM's but I'll post here too.

I'm looking for a long term backing deal for middle stakes/high stakes mtts.
Here is my OPR.

I do not play on full tilt, but my sn there is snoringbeagl.
My name before I turned 18 was notchineseAQ. I think I won a $22 donkament on there or something.

and if it were not for K4>88 for 50bb at a big final table, there would be lots more profit

I have lots of references, there are a few frequent well known posters that can vouch for my integrity, playing ability, and could even tell you where I lived if you ever needed to know. I have done a few successful transfers in the high stakes transfer thread. I can put in huge volume. I have many strategy posts in HSMTT, and read as much as I can about tournament poker as possible. I have watched the phil ivey / paul jackson bluff over and over again. I might have seen it 500 times.

Tomorrow, I will be 20 years old. I need a backing deal because I want to play as many medium/high stakes mtts for the next year as possible, because I want to get some big scores under my belt and become a better player before I head to the WSOP. I really, really, really want to win a braclet. As of now my roll cannot handle running bad in $200 mtts every sunday and the 100k every night, let alone all the NLHE events at the series. I could grind cash or sngs, I used to, but it's just not as fun for me as tournaments are. I really really like tournament poker, and want to keep playing and improving.

As far as how the staking deal would work out, I wouldn't mind at all starting off at a 70/30 or 80/20 deal until I have played x amount of tournaments and have proven to you that I can play and I am not going to steal your money.

I'm not sure what else to say. If you want my references, just PM me and I can give you their 2p2 names and AIM's. also if you have any questions or on the off chance that anyone actually wants to do business, PM me for my AIM or my cell #.

Hey all,

I'm fairly new to 2p2, and though I probably have the requisite number of strat posts, they're likely all in the omaha forum, since that's pretty much all I've played since last August. What I'm looking for though is a stake to play in the $11 and $22 180-man sng's on Pokerstars. I play as "bdcfcp" there.

A little bit about me - I'm 29yrs old, live with my fiancee and her two kids, planning a wedding for October. I have a full time job as well, so poker is a leisure/spare time activity for me. Though I don't have many posts here, I do have >7k at fullcontactpoker (under the same sn), and several people (known to 2p2 as well) that would vouch for my credibility.

I've never played on a stake before, but would be willing to discuss terms with a pretty open mind. What I'm looking for is I think on the "smaller" scale in terms of stakes - maybe for 10-20 sng's per week, depending on the wishes of the backer. I'd like this to be profitable and enjoyable for the backer as well. I will always err on the side of things being fair and equitable and will hold myself to the highest standard imaginable in terms of honesty and integrity.

I'll post a screenshot of my sharkscope results - I don't have a membership to be able to filter the results, maybe someone that does have one can help me out. Anyway, it's not a huge sample and I haven't played the 180's for quite some time now, but a 55% roi over 260 games with an average stake of $12 and total profit of $2300 should show that I'm at least somewhat competant overall as a player (I hope). OPR shows me with a 120% roi for 2006 ($3,375 total cashes, $1,841 profit) and 58% roi for 2007 ($3,960 cashes, $1,446 profit)

If there's anything I've left out or that you'd like to know, please feel free to pm me.
Thanks.

figured Id quote this since it's closer to WSOP time. Anyone interested but skeptical can PM bobbofitos or pasterbater and ask about me.

I will attempt to keep this thread in the future. Please notify me if you want me to address a specific post.

Looks like my post was deleted in this purge. Happily, I just won a Main Event seat on FTP. I guess I'll go over to BAP.

Having read through many posts in this thread, I actually do agree with Steve. Looks like the guidelines are much more explicit as of last week. Good job!

I'm going to be staying in vegas for all of June and most of July and want to play as many MTTs as possible. Right now I am selling action for $80k in tourney buyins at the rate of $3k per 3%. I'm not looking for smaller investments at this point but I'll consider selling half-shares if I don't raise all the money I want in the next few days.

The stake will go towards the following tourneys:
-All vegas tourneys with buyins of 5k or less between May 31 and July 20 (WSOP, Venetian, bellagio cup, and possibly a couple binions/orleans tourneys. The vast majority of my play will be at the WSOP)
-WSOP 10k main event

I'm also interested in playing the 10k PLHE, 10k MIXHE, and 15k Bellagio main event if anyone wants to put me in those. However none of those would be part of the stake outlined above.

If I wind up playing less than $80k in buyins (unlikely), I'll return the unspent portion of the stake at a 1:1 rate. I'll post updates at least every other day via blog or email for all my investors. The stake will only be for the first $80k in buyins i spend on tourneys outlined above.

My stats:
Online - 1329 tourneys played, $126,945.40 in buyins, $417,985.51 in cashes, 291,040.11 profit with 229.3% ROI
Live - 23 tourneys played, $43,075 in buyins, $86,835 in cashes, $43,760 profit with 101.6% ROI

I've met quite a few 2+2ers in person and while I haven't been a very active poster lately, I think most of the HSMTTers that have been around a while would vouch for me. I'm willing to sign a contract with anyone who buys shares to protect us both.

Right now I'm looking to sell up to 30% worth, it's possible I'll offer more in the future. PM me if you're interested in buying shares or would like more info. You can send the money on stars/ftp, or if you'll be in vegas, with cash, however the cutoff for paying is noon on the 31st as that is when the first tourney covered under the stake will begin. I'll be in vegas on either the 29th or 30th.

I'll be paying out winnings in the same way, though I might not be able to pay a large amount of winnings via site transfer since I don't keep a ton of money online. I'll need your name+address+SSN or ITIN for form 5754.

Thanks.

I'm looking for someone to stake me at nl100. I am a student and I use poker to pay my rent and living expenses so I am constantly withdrawing money, and I'm never left with anything to move up in the limits. I am posting my stats below for nl50 to show that I'm a winner over a stretch of about 50k hands. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will provide you with any information you would like.

My game has really improved over the last 10-15k hands so some of the stats are inaccurate but gives a good idea of my ability.

Here are my stats over all my limits:

Hey guys,

I'm looking for someone to stake me in Sunday MTTs, all the 250s. I have a 50k roll and play 2/4nl. I'm also a coach on DC. I just want to play all the Sundays without the variance of having like -2k days just from tournaments, and I don't mind giving up equity by getting staked even though I'm comfortably rolled in order to avoid variance.

PM me if this interests you.

Here's my stuff from OPR, not a ton of results but this is all thats there.

05-22-2008 , 06:27 PM
the WGCRider thread in BBV led me to post this in here

I'm an 8-tabling, 100NL non-US player who's been really lazy (both in terms of getting in hands and moving up stakes). I'm way too smart and good at poker to be so stagnant in my progression. I'm at that point in my game where $50/hour x 15 hours/week is a pretty decent paycheck, while I should easily be making >$100/hour x 30 hours/week, and with more work >$200/hour at 30 hours/week. A backing deal will psychologically allow me to make this progression.

Thus, I'm looking for a staking agreement that forces me to complete a certain number of hands per week/month/etc., while providing the backer some incentive to stake me. I'm looking at 60 or 70k hands/month as an initial goal. Also, I may be interested in some coaching as well, to move up in stakes and make more money/hour.

I have a 100NL roll online at the moment, so this stake is definitely not essential. However, I think it'd be much more efficient for both me (and the staker I suppose) to have such an agreement. As mentioned before, I have a problem most poker players have: getting in hands.

Essentially, this will end up being free money for you - a very high rate of return on your investment. To start, I'd be asking a 3k bankroll for 100NL, and as/if stakes get higher, it can be negotiated. As such, I'd ask for an 80/20 split of profits (not including bonus or rakeback), with you getting 20% of monthly profits. After the initial investment and doing quick math at 4ptbb/100 playing 50k hands at 100NL, you'd be making $800/month doing nothing right off the bat. That's a pretty solid amount for little investment. And this is only at the beginning with low hand goals - I'll only be making more money as I progress.

I have played almost primarily on PokerRoom under the usernames WnEdspVBlkN, loloSTACKEDu, IRgamb00l and LOL_DONKMNTS. The first 2 are the names I've been using for the past year or so. Following is a PT screenshot of all of my play on this computer since September, and a PokerGrapher graph. Overall, I'm a 4ptbb/100 winner at 100NL, 5.5 ptbb/100 winner at 50NL, and 7 ptbb/100 at 25NL:

Obviously I'd provide hands/stats at whatever intervals you'd like. I will not play at Party, so please do not ask about that. Just PM me and I can discuss this further. I'm looking for this agreement to last approximately 6 months, as I've been accepted into air traffic control training. I predict it will start in January, but haven't been given a set date as of yet. After that, my time will be limited, but we may be able to figure out alternate arrangements.

All,

I'm currently on a stake by a 2+2'er for $12/180 turbos and doing well. However, I'm also looking to play the $55/50k gtd and/or the nightly 100k on Stars. This would be a pretty standard and simple staking deal.

I don't want to play a huge volume of regular MTTs, but my results have been pretty good in these two specific tournaments, so I'd like to mix them in.

You can OPR me (nutshot2 on Stars) and view results for these specific tourneys by selecting "Full Tracking", then sorting by "buyin, prize" and viewing "all, show/hide $0" depending on what you want to see.

I'm open to any other ideas you might have also, as far as maybe including $109 freezeouts also.

PM me if interested.

Looking for a stake for mtts. I currently play lots of mtts up to $109s regularly, but I have zero cash and I would really like to cash out from the internet so I can have some money for the upcoming summer and school year.

I have won a few big mtts including the Pokerstars $100 rebuy. If staked I would prefer to play atleast 109s and the major Sundays. I am willing to start with a lower percentage on my cut.

I play as Supergood1 on stars and bi0nickat on Full Tilt. PM me with offers plz, or for references.

I'm look to sell about half of my action in the 50k horse event at the wsop this year. I've already sold about 10k so I have about 15k left. I'm selling at even money but 1k minimum investment please.

From about 2000-2004 all I played was high stakes mix and stud games anywhere from 75-150 to 400-800. My best game of the 5 is certainly stud as I played that the most but the problem was that in 2004 everyone wanted to play holdem so stud games (and mix games to an extent) just died. Then I stopped playing poker for a couple years because I got into other things and since I got back into it middle of last year I just have been playing sngs online because, well they're pretty easy to grind and I don't really have to think.

Basically I know there are players better than me in the field but I also know there are a lot of worse ones too. I've played with quite a few of them in the past in mix games.

I considered playing it last year but I was afraid maybe I'd be outclassed in but I've talked to a few people who I used to play with in the mix games back in the day who played in it the past 2 years and they said there's plenty of soft spots in it and it's definitely worth playing. I just don't want to put up 50k myself because that's pretty sick variance.

If you have any further questions feel free to PM me.

Just an observer comment.....

The 100 min post for Strat is a little confusing....Just a suggestion to list exactly which forums qualify...as many may think several sections of General Poker Discussion (and others) would qualify for Strat

In fact, only two sections actually have Strategy in the title...and certainly more are actually strategy sections

Looking for a really small stake. You know I won't scam you because I'm not asking for more than $5. =D

I've consistently turned nothing into something a few times, and that's what I want to try again.

I've been playing for the last two years or so online, always focusing on improving my game.

I like reading strategy forums here on 2p2 more than I like watching cardrunners videos because I can skim through the strategy reading faster and take what I want out of them quickly and move on.

I'd like to talk with anyone who's interested in this more regarding my skill, goals, etc.

The screenshot I've included is only over only 6k hands because I've formatted my computer a few times. Hopefully someone can pull up old PT stats on me or something.

If any low limit NON US donks are interested in running some Step SNG stakes on Party, feel free to PM me. I use to play these all of the time and unfortunately since I am from the US I haven't gotten to play them in a few years so I decided to put some people in them.

Please dont PM me if you have little or no posts on twoplustwo or if you have played very few SNGs. Good STT stats will help a lot if you are trying to get this stake from me.

When you PM me, make sure you include your s/n from any site you play on. There is no reason to lie about your s/n because if I am interested in staking you, I will have you confirm all of the s/n you sent me.

The only way this stake is possible is if you have a Stars or FTP account with money on it (Preferably Stars). I will send the money on Stars, you will play the stakes on Party and you will ship winnings back to me on Stars.

We will discuss the stakes later but will likely begin from step 1 and move on up. The backers cut will be discussed as well and will change in favor of the horse, as more money is made during the stake.

I'm looking for a stake or to sell shares to the $1,500 WSOP Razz event on 6/13.

Really only interested in looking for buyers/stakers who know me or of me due to my more succesful live playing vs. online (hence, no real OPR's or whatever those things are called.)

I placed 44th out of 409 in 2006 and am super aggressive. It totally tilts the old guys who play the game since I'm a young(er) female.

Side Story: Only 40 got paid in the 2006 event and the only reason why I busted out was because the last two hands I was dealt A23 and then bricked out on 5th-7th streets, with the other guy calling all the way down, of course.

Online results/stats won't really tell you anything since I haven't played much since the law past and since my divorce last year.

I will be in Vegas about 25 of the 35 days of the WSOP, but mostly playing at the Binions Tournament/Event as they are cheaper and more affordable for me (playing those on my own bankroll) and due to some financial difficulties since the divorce the $1500 Razz event would be difficult for me (well, until I win or cash in the Binion Events, ldo)

PM me if interested, we'll work out details.

Obviously, to the people who do know me or of me, I am very trustworthy and dependable and references/vouching are/is available.
